We are doing the western caribbean on the Fantasy in August of 2015. I have to say I'm not that excited about The Jamaican excursions and it seems there are several other people who feel the same. I'm wondering if maybe Disney should try to find an alternate port to visit in the future. I know...

We are doing the Western Caribbean in Aug. as well. we've been on the Fantasy and did an Eastern, but never did a Western. I am also curious about excursions. Hopefully people will reply to this thread. :confused:

You should look into Maho beach. It's right next to the airport and the planes fly right above you that you feel you can touch them. Your 9 year old should love it. There's also the sunset bar and grill there that serves food. I haven't been there yet, but will in August. You can go on you tube...

DW and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary on the fantasy in August. We are not bringing our kids with us either. This is our 2nd cruise. Our first was 25 years ago on the big red boat before we had kids. So we were on 2 Disney cruises, neither with kids. Feeling guilty...but not too guilty...

Just wondering, What happens if you book an excursion, and when you go on the cruise, the weather is so bad you want to cancel your excursion. Can you get a refund?:confused3

I am told that when you go to St. Thomas, you must take a tour of St. Johns. They say it's beautiful.

Great thread. DW and my first cruise since the big red boat well over 20 years ago. Going in August on the fantasy. Am getting great info. Please keep them coming. :)

Looking forward to hopefully seeing Ironman 3 and The Lone Ranger on the Fantasy in August.
