    Grand Cayman time

That's what I thought -- but I've called DCL and twice I've been told that the time stays constant.

    Grand Cayman time

I've been given conflicting information about how DCL handles time... We're scheduled to be in port from 10:30 - 5:30. Someone told me that the ship time doesn't change. Should I assume that this is 930a - 430p 'local' time in Grand Cayman? Thanks!

    Potty Trained in kid's clubs

And the negative posts seem to come from the same posters over and over again. Not only will they consider pull ups in the club, but we have a friend who was allowed to send his mature 2 1/2 yr old into the club in a pull up whenever his older 6 yr old brother was there at the same time...

Shorts to be allowed in MDR?

Just thinking about why this bothers so many people? I'm at work every day in a sea of expensive suits and ties. When I'm on vacation, it's the last thing I want. I want to relax. This very thread is not relaxing. R e l a x. It's really a non-issue.

Shorts to be allowed in MDR?

I find this whole thread amusing. Someone wearing nice shorts and a nice shirt to dinner on a Caribbean or Bahamian cruise is a non issue. Let them do what they choose. It's a DISNEY cruise that caters primarily to children. First, most all mass market cruises have reduced quality and formality...

    Dry Cleaning on board

I love that Disney dry cleaning is cheaper than at home in New York

    VIP meet and greet

My son was now MAW and it does happen. I have to say, the hostility shown on this board toward the OP, a new poster, has been disconcerting to me. I'm finding this attitude more and more in this forum.

    VIP meet and greet

On our first concierge sailing 4 yrs ago we received invitations in our stateroom to meet a special somebody in one of the lounges. It was a 1on1 for my then 2yr old with Mickey. Awesome experience. The next sailing we were invited to a concierge reception (2 actually) with characters present...

Bags VIP - Have You Used It?

I haven't used their service, but I've been reading about them on another board: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/american-aadvantage/1373171-domestic-baggage-delivery-bags-vip-luggage-delivery-fee-service-5.html I'd also like to hear some other experiences from JetBlue travelers.

What time can I get off the ship in Nassau?

4-nt Dream in a few weeks. Heading over to Atlantis on our own. Just wondering what time we can get off the ship. Cruise itinerary shows 930a. Thanks.

    Garden Grove

Disney Dining Reservations did me a solid and had a manager override the availability @ Chef Mickey's. It took a few days, but they moved us over for the a reservation at CM at the same time. I was very pleased with the response.

    Dream questions

The 'no room service' rule on the last morning seems to vary by cabin type. Our last two DCL cruises were in suites and we got room service delivered both times.

    Garden Grove

No, it's Garden Grove @ Swan, but Disney handles their reservations.

    Garden Grove

Same here.... what a pain! And thanks to them for letting us know after the fact. I spoke with them today and apparently it has been in the works for months. They sent me the new menus -- 3 nightly selections of entrees for adults and 2 for children. Not exactly a ton of options. What a...

    Baggage question for return flight

Definitely wont switch my flight since the next one is 3-4 hours later. I guess I'll give it a shot at the port. Worst case, I cancel DCL transfers and book a limo.

    Baggage question for return flight

Booked flights through JetBlue from MCO and I'm taking DCL transfers back to the airport. JetBlue went and changed our flight time to 11am and DCL won't let me use the online airline check-in because its earlier than 1130a. Does this mean that I won't be able to check my bags straight through...

    Hyatt Credit Card

The nights are good anywhere with virtually no restrictions. If you are a Hyatt loyalist, then it can be a good idea. Redemption is better on hotel cards than air cobrands these days. But, I still feel that it's not worth it for 2 nts at MCO.

    Hyatt Credit Card

The nights are good at any Hyatt worldwide. Frankly, the deals are SO good at Hyatt MCO that I can't imagine using the nights there.

    Soda in the Dining Room

I have to admit, it irks me a bit on Disney that they charge for seltzer, club soda - whatever you want to call it. Every soda fountain comes with a small switch that bypasses the syrup and dispenses carbonated water. I could never understand why they won't do that on Disney - and they insist...
