Recommend a SN stroller for me

It's time to buy my oldest an actual SN stroller, he's too big for our Phil and Ted any longer (sad, because I love being able to have them both in the same stroller). I might just get him a Baby Jogger City Elite, but I'm looking at other options as well. His pediatrician requested an auth for...

    Busch Gardens GAC

BG isn't very friendly, IMO. Difficult as heck with a SD, and very unfriendly to wheelchairs, esp strollers as chairs or anything that doesn't look exactly like a TV wheelchair. I'm not sure why I keep renewing my passes... but they're done at the end of the year and I doubt I'll renew. They've...

New DTD Babycakes Delivery to WDW?

I've done it at Tusker, Chef Mickey, that knock off Italian place at the entrance to MK that I can't remember the name of, Turf Club... maybe a few others.

New DTD Babycakes Delivery to WDW?

I've brought my son's cake several times, and they have always served it to him with the same fanfare as any other kid. I just give it to them as soon as I get there and advise of the situation, and they bring it out at cake time with candles and singing.

TSA Combined Thread (braces, ports, guests with disabilities and airport screening)

I have 8 external support braces, and occasionally one other. You do not need to remove them, but I have always been wanded and had a pat down. Always. I've never NOT had a pat down. They also bomb swab every brace.

    homebound

We don't really care too much about getting the tutoring, we're fully capable of educating him at home (I'm a former grade school teacher as well), but it would lessen some of the... something.

    Anyone wear a knee brace???

No, I don't wear immobilizers during the day. I sleep in them though! Mine are to prevent hyperextension, which is most severe in my knees, wrists, and fingers, so those joints are always braced. I would not attempt disney in an immobilizer.

    Anyone wear a knee brace???

I've been in bilateral knees, among others, for years. Depending on the ride, you might have issues, but not likely. Prepare to sweat a lot underneath them, even if it's not hot out.

    homebound

We've been debating the possibility of having our son declared homebound and his pediatrician brought it up today and felt it to be the best option at this time. It will entitle him to educational support through the school district, as well as help financially. I know this is a good thing, but...

    Annual pass dining plan?

You just don't have to buy a ticket. Normally, you must buy an entire package to get dining. If you have an AP, they let you out of the ticket part.

    Would you panic?

I had a walk up of CM during prime dinner on a sunday in FD. Kinda bummed, since I hate CM and was only appeasing my child by "asking" while full well "knowing" they wouldn't have a spot. Uh, $95 later, we had a spot. So yeah, totally possible. I always have ADRs for big trips, but we go very...

Wow. Walk in at Chef Mickey at prime dinner time on a Sunday during FD

We were at WDW on a lark yesterday and my son begged to go to chef Mickey. I HATE chef Mickey. But we walked in, because he is just too dang cute (even though we'd eaten there twice on our trip last weekend!) Walked right up at ~5:50 and were seated within 15 minutes. Didn't make ME happy since...

    Bedbugs!

The bites have started showing up. I've read that it can take a week or more for them to actually appear. And both my oldest son and I are covered. Covered. My partner and baby not so much (only see a few on the baby) which makes me think they were just in my bed (we each take one bed with one...

    Bedbugs!

26 building, first floor. 2614, maybe? We went from 25 to 26 to 31, but I don't remember the exact number of each.

    Bedbugs!

Oh they were there the whole time. We didn't go into parks (except to eat and immediately leave, we did no rides or shows). We were in one room the first night, then another room (the bug room) the 2/3 night (moved because there were two reservations, nothing wrong with the first room) and...

    Bedbugs!

Yeah, they brought their dog in (apparently, they own their own bedbug dog) and she confirmed our little friends). I think they just vacuumed the car and then left it in the sun. Heat kills them, and I know it certainly gets hotter than 140 in a locked car in FL sun in early September...

    Bedbugs!

I want to start this by saying that I understand bedbugs are a reality of hotel stays and that it is in no way indicative of the quality of the establishment. I do not think that a hotel with bedbugs is "dirty" and bedbugs alone would not make me cease doing business with the establishment...

    Hypospadia

It's become more common lately. Depending on how high up it is, it might not even need surgical correction. Contrary to popular US assumptions, it does NOT require a circumcision (and is corrected without circumcision in near every other country). See several different urologists and don't rush...
