    Dreams Unlimited question

That makes sense, they are just using the shopping cart software to collect your card info, not actually pay Disney. They still need to call that in or use Disney's site to make the payment.

    Dreams Unlimited question

I'd be interested to hear from someone who has used DU's online system to hear how the charge shows on their credit card statement.

    Dreams Unlimited question

Who does this pay? DU or DCL? How does it show on your credit card? My TA uses my credit card with my signed authorization to pay Disney directly. Just curious how this works.

I called CR desk to ask....

99% of all calls to what is listed as the resort phone numbers are actually answered by a call center who answer the phone with that resort name. This is because 99% of all calls can easily be answered by a call center so the front desk staff is able to handle the people that are standing in...

Question in regards to Fairytale Dreams & Destinations

Won't happen as long as the DIS has a TA sponsor.

Question in regards to Fairytale Dreams & Destinations

You are probably referring to the fact that they are an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner agency or part of Disney's Earmarked program. These agencies sell many Disney trips and have signed a contract stating that they will place a high priority on selling the Disney Destinations. In return...

Taking a Ressie back from a TA

The real estate agent is still working for the seller and will get paid either way; in the majority of cases by a large commission on the sale, if not then by a fee. They even get paid if someone else sells the house if they were the listing agent. The only way they would never get paid is if a...

Taking a Ressie back from a TA

The difference with a real estate agent is that they usually have your listing for 6 months. I believe you would need to pay a fee if you wanted to change agents within that period. Edited to add - just found a listing agreement online - it has an early termination fee of $129 if the seller...

Question in regards to Fairytale Dreams & Destinations

Mine was that if the 2 agencies were the same, why wouldn't you follow the agent for her exceptional service?

    WDW deposit over to DCL??

They would refund the deposit back to her and then she would need to pay DCL. WDW would not transfer the payment to DCL for her.

If the food and atmosphere and location were identical, would you consider it then?

Yes, but you need to upgrade the tickets at check in.

Still have ticket question after reading through sticky

You have a 4-day ticket - from the sticky: "Park Hopping is a $55.00 option which can be added to any base ticket, whether adult or child, whether two days or ten days. For a one-day ticket the cost is $35.00. The price is the same whether you buy it the first day or the last day of a...

    Booking through Disney site? POFQ

ANY TA can take and pass the College of Disney Knowledge in a few days of effort - and they never need to visit a park or take a Disney cruise. Use this as a starting point, but spend a little time to interview your TA and see if they visit the parks regularly and know Disney.

Using Disney transportation to get from AKL (Boma) to POP

Agreed. AKL and DTD are opposite sides of property! This would be the longest possible route that I could think of, except perhaps going from AKL to MK and then to Pop....since MK is extreme north end of property.

Should Disney get rid of ADR'S?

If it was that simple they would have done it. The problem is that you could have a room where some of the room guests (all on the same reservation number) wants to eat breakfast at Ohana at 10 and the others want to eat at Chef Mickey at 10...the system would see this as one reservation...

What do you think is the ideal ADR window?

I voted 180 - but with that in mind, I would hope that park hours were published then too. If they weren't going to publish park hours until 170 days, then I would vote 160 or so, something just under the park hours publication time so that we would be sure to have park hours available to...

It's possible that it may have included insurance and transfers too.

    2010 Earmarked conference??

No, but you should check with your agency to see if you are eligible to go. On the Dream, each agency was limited to 5 staterooms and they went very fast. When the conference is at WDW or DLR, usually the limit is 10 agents. The agency owner makes the decision.

    Earliest possible check-in (BWI CL)

You can check in as early as 7am, but that doesn't mean a room will be ready. There is a laundry and shower facility near the pool where you could shower and change. I would talk to concierge, but I think that may increase your odds of having a room that early in the morning - but it all...
