Here's a question: We are staying at POFQ in a few days. We will be taking ME and using Disney transportation the whole trip. However, my father-in-law and his wife will be staying at the Buena Vista Palace (with a rental car) for a few nights during the middle of our trip. Does anyone know...
The fried chicken is deserving of the hype, in my opinion. From what I recall, there were three pieces, one white and two dark, although I am certain that they would accomodate requests for all white or all dark meat (provided you promise to eat your veggies, of course!). Enjoy!
We are also huge fans of our Keurig! I went from being a "coffee every now and then" person to drinking two cups every morning! Try the Green Mountain Pumpkin Spice! You'll love it!
PS- Starbuck's K-Cups are coming in about a month!
What's the most cool about this is to see some of the giants of Disney history! Ollie Johnston, Roy E. Disney, Marty Sklar, Marc Davis, and the list goes on!
I would only stay at Pop if it were some sort of dirt cheap value season deal. For a value, it is pretty good, but, especially when everyone in the group is older, the theme of POFQ just can't be beat! I think it is worth the additional cost to get a smaller resort, more dependable bus...
This is by far the best option! It will resemble the strategy employed by U.S. Special Forces during Operation Just Cause in 1989. They camped out outside the compund of Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega and blared "I Fought the Law, and the Law Won" at 100 decibels for days on end in an...
We've done the majority of our extended trips around that time b/c our anniversary is Aug. 2nd. We have found that, if you stay for at least seven or eight nights, you can space out your park visits to avoid both the crowds and heat of the late morning and afternoon (and nothing beats a midday...
We did that two years ago. We stayed one night at POFQ and then transferred to CR right the next morning. Bell Services transferred everything for us without issue. Granted, we had to pick it up from Bell Services at the Cr and take it to our room at CR, but that was very easy.
That's kind of what we were anticipating as well. I have heard that the cap for the number of MVMCP tickets sold is 20,000 though (or I might just be making that up). So hopefully, we will still be able to sneak onto a couple of E-ticket attractions here and there without anyone noticing!
Does anyone know if there are FP's available during MVMCP? I am drafting our touring plan, and I am planning on FP return times, but then I thought, is it really necessary?
Also, if there are no FP's and only standby, what is the typical wait time for an attraction like Peter Pan?
Any...
For Southwest, they have always boarded in groups in the past (it's been a while since we've flown with them), rather than assigning seats. My dad likened it to the start of a race. Someone fires a starter pistol announcing your group is boarding, and they're off! If you get to two seats next...
