It's not the free dining, it's the dining plan itself. The TS restaurants at Disney used to be some of the best in the Orlando area when we lived there. The decline and homogenization of the menus is directly correlated with the expansion of the dining plan.
Yeah I'm just the opposite. My daughter absolutely loved both the movie and tv series From Dusk Till Dawn, loves TWD, and we are both really looking forward to the new Dracula movie. AvP is a hit or miss, I can see how it could be done really well but I can also see it sucking out loud.
Speaking only for myself, I wouldn't even dream of doing HHN without express anymore. Years ago it was doable but it has gotten so popular and I have gotten so spoiled that there's just no way.
Agreed, they already have 3 (4 if you count fire and ice, or whatever they are called now, separately) coasters that IMO are all very enjoyable. I don't see the need to add another, plus, that would have seemed like a cheap cop out given how impressive FJ was and still is.
I'm sure someone could make the argument that Toy Story is at least as entertaining as MIB, but MIB blows Buzz Lightyear out of the water, that's not even close.
Just an FYI, from the terms on Cabana Bay's site, only guests of the hotel may rent a Cabana.
"Please have a member of your party check in at Atomic Tonic to complete payment and also receive the location of your cabana. We are located in the Cabana Courtyard in front of the Starlight...
Thanks, we're going in October so I'd imagine it would be similar. Honestly I wouldn't have actually spent the night in the room if we did get it, I would have just been booking so we could check out the pool. That's actually a damned nice rate for a cabana at any hotel, heck the ones here...
I think you're right, and I would imagine that the reason they aren't letting the other resort guests go there is because that one hotel has roughly the same number of rooms as the other 3 combined. Still, I'd have liked to check it out.
If you don't mind my asking, how much is a Cabana? I can get a room there for $89 + tax so I'm trying to decide if it's worth it just to use the pool for a day.
It never ceases to amaze me that people think they get free parking at any other hotel. The other hotels just build it into the room rate and everyone pays it whether they have a car there or not. It's just that simple. I'd prefer to have them charge me separately.
This.
Aren't they still (4 years later) doing EE for Hogsmead? They were last year when I was there, so there is NO WAY they are going to discontinue it to this anytime soon.
Take anything from a TM with a grain of salt. We were told the same thing when we were there before the first HP opened and they weren't even close to being ready.
It serves 2 purposes: 1 - increased revenue, particularly since they were going to shut down Jaws anyway and they had to replace it with something, and 2 - evening out the crowds. Can you even imagine how much like a can of sardines IOA would be if everything HP was located there?
