Leaving in two hours for YC!

Coming on Wed. really hoping it is bearable. Have gone in August twice before and the crowds were low and hurricane was on way so was humid but windy. Really hate humidity, but this week always seems best time for us to go.

My dd and I will be at YC Wed. Can't wait! It will be my 50th birthday and first trip with just my daughter. We are also booked standard view but just being at an Epcot area resort will be a thrill for us.

My dd and I are only 1 wk away from our 6 day YC trip. Wishing now we had booked for longer, but went last year for 9 days.

Always booked through AAA after exploring all the discounts/codes etc and knowing what we wanted. Seems cheaper, but is more difficult to change things at last minute.

We had three standard rooms last year and they were all great overlooked a little fountain and were close to the bus stop. We had a corner room which seemed really nice! Close to food court , river. Very clean rooms.

I'm trying to see Remy on 8/18 for dinner at Les Chefs trying for a 4:45 or 5:00 but can only get 5:20 which might be too late to see him. Also have been trying to get Le Cellier for 2 8/18 - 8/23 no luck.

I remember when my daughter now 17 was only 2. We were behind her walking from FW to wS and she was dancing ahead, park was empty and all of a sudden Pinocchio came dancing out from an alley and started dancing with her. We have had many other great memories and hope to make more on our mother...

We have a 9:15 at Liberty Tree Tavern on 8/20. Is there a place we can see wishes. Also we have California Grill on 8/21 at 7:45. Are either of these good for fireworks or should be try to change reservations?

My 17 yr. old and I will be going to YC Aug. 18 have a standard room. Is it worth it to try to upgrade for view? Any suggestions as to room request closer to Epcot & good view? Will be celebrating 50th birthday and got 40% off. Very last minute splurge, never stayed in Epcot area before.
