    OT: Changing planes in YUL?

We just got back and connected through YUL. We made a 65 minute connection with no problems and about 15 minutes to spare!

Best building to stay in at Cabana Bay

We stayed in Building 7, Bayside. I found it a little too far from everything but that is after a long day walking at the park :( It was nice to be in the new building thoughand the view of the Volcano was awesome!!!!

Root Canal 12 hours before we leave?

Just curious... I found out I need a root canal as a filling is loose (I'm in no pain). I leave in 7 days and the only time the dentist can get me in is 12 hours before my departure. Would you take the appointment or would you wait until you get home and hope all stays fine and dandy on the...

Anyone flown to Orlando out of Montreal?

I just messaged the Montreal Airport via Facebook and they said there is a dedicated line for connecting flights at the pre board check point. Hopefully this will help with short connection times :)

Anyone flown to Orlando out of Montreal?

We are flying out of New Brunswick with a connection in Montreal to MCO with a 1 hr layover. I've been obsessing over this connection for weeks. I had no idea there was a preclearance at YUL otherwise I would have never booked it. It's a legal connection so we are stuck with it. We are just...

    US Border Pre Clearance

We are connecting in Montreal ( 1 hr 10 min layover) during the morning rush (7:40 AM) and have never done the US Border Pre Clearance, I'm not thrilled having to learn a new system with such a short layover. We are a party of 4 and will have 1 checked bag to wait for. Is is a relatively easy...

Anywhere to buy Universal tix in Canada/Canadian funds?

I looked into this and for us the best deal was still Undercover Tourist even with the exchange and the foreign exchange rate. We got their 2 day park to park plus an extra day promotion (so 3 day park to park).

    Passport Expiry/6 month rule

My husband is out of the country right now. When he gets back I will apply for a new one for my son. I just hope it will be ready before we go. I won't pay for an express one. I checked with Air Canada and they are okay with it and all the documents I've read said it's okay. Last minute trip...

    Passport Expiry/6 month rule

I have checked this 1000 times but I'm still paranoid hence this post. We are travelling May 31st to June 5th. My son's passport expires July 17 2017. I read that Canada (as well as other countries) is only required to have passports valid for their period of stay and is exempt from the 6 month...

    Connecting in YYZ

Are you talking about your return flight back to London? I asked a similar question. I'm flying from Fredericton NB to Montreal to MCO. When returning we have to pick up our bags in Montreal and go through customs and drop the bags off again before we board the plane to go to Fredericton. Going...

Connecting Flights. When do you stop at Customs?

This is our first trip to Orlando flying out of Canada (we've always driven to Maine in the past). I wanted to clarify something, When flying home we are stopping in Montreal before heading to NB. When we arrive there we have to grab all our luggage and go through Customs right? And check the...

What accommodations would help? New ASD Diagnosis.

I guess I'm asking more about what accommodations to ask for based on what others have found helpful for similar kids. I'll take a read through the sticky and see if anything pops up there that answers my question. Thanks!

What accommodations would help? New ASD Diagnosis.

We finally got a diagnosis for my 9 year old DS. ASD (Aspergers although technically that doesn't exist anymore), ADHD and some LD's. He gets easily overstimulated, has some sensory issues and we have some meltdowns and anxiety. We actually won't be going on many rides as a family due to his...

    All New Atlantic Canada Thread....

I paid the entire amount. If you just pay the deposit you are charged by the hotel when you check out, so in USD - which includes that darn transaction fee!

    All New Atlantic Canada Thread....

I booked our hotel, Cabana Bay, through Hotels.ca because I wanted to be charged in CDN dollars. It was cheaper to book the airfare and hotel separately and buy the tickets on Undercover Tourist. Just the way it worked out for us! Hope that helps

Hopper App - Did it work for you?

Hopper told us to book and said it was a fantastic rate (which it was) - so far so good! The rate has since gone up :) The other date we were looking at Hopper predicted the price would rise as well and it did.

    Age Limit for Child Swap?

I'm travelling to Universal this June with my husband and two sons. My youngest, 9, is high functioning autistic and won't be able to or won't want to ride some of the attractions at the parks. Is the child swap feature still available? Using the single rider option would still require us to...

    How is everyone booking?

I'm just wondering how everyone is booking their trips lately? With the dollar being so bad and the transaction fees on credit cards (I know some don't have any but most do) I'm trying to deal in Canadian dollars. Are most people still booking directly with Disney? Working with an agent?
