I know someone that is a support worker for trans gender people. Although, I can neither agree or disagree, because honestly, a person is a person so I don't care. My only opinion is that 14 years old is too young to decide what gender they should be, alot of kids are still developing at that...

I am from Victoria, not as cold as Toronto, but last January from the 20-14th, we went, and it downpoured the entire trip, and was the same temperature as Victoria, so pretty chilly.

I have been staying at this hotel for 20 years (with a few other hotels when we have short stays), and I think it is one of the best. The customer service has been better than when we stayed at Holiday Inn and Ramada, which cost more. Also, you can get a park view room at this hotel.

I finally know what costumes we will be wearing. I am going as an Anaheim Duck, my DH as Mickey Mouse - sorcerers apprentice, my mom as a witch, my DD and her BF as pirates.

Originally when I booked our October trip (over a year ago), Screamin' wasn't on the refurb list. Any idea if they will do a soft opening the day before the opening at all? Although my husband and I and my Mom will still be there for another 4 days, my daughter and her boyfriend are leaving on...

I am going with my husband, mother, daughter and her boyfriend from Oct. 11-18. We are staying at HoJo. We are attending the Halloween party on the 11th.

Myself, DH and my Mom will be going on the 11th, and hopefully my daughter and her boyfriend as well. Not sure if I am dressing up yet, might just wear my Anaheim Ducks jersey and hat.

I know this is late in the game, but I just stumbled on this....No, not all of Canada is too cold, and not every place gets snow. Here in southern BC snow is rare, and temps. are not too bad most times. Our climate is close to that of Paris, and they have a Disneyland there.

We arrive there tomorrow morning. One question....do they sell rain ponchos in Disneyland and the hotel gift shops? I have just one poncho here, and think we might need another.

I make ressies, just to be safe, but with it being off season, you can probably get in without them. It was pretty dead in there on off season last time we went. I would call for ressies if you can though, then you will definately get in for the time you want = no disappointment.
