Ever been disappointed by a ride?

"Sound Dangerous" with Drew Carey seemed like a "throw-in" attraction, like, "Hey, we have this empty building. What can we prop up while we think of something better?" Don't miss it at all... As a big Star Wars fan, the previous version of Star Tours was a BIG disappointment. The current...

    Fastpass or wait in line??

Recently, I've been going during the first two weeks of September, so wait times have not been long at all, save for Toy Story, which I always get a FP. Soarin' is another one for which I usually get a FP. I do like to wait in line for Space Mountain, as I love the ambiance and listening to...

What do YOU do in line?

I like to get any of the "Hidden Mickey" books. Trying to find them is a great way to pass the time. "Hidden Mickeys" are a great example of the attention to detail the Imagineers possess!

Where to keep my i pad safe in disney?

I put all my electronics (GPS, MP3 player, cell phone, etc.) in a suitcase and close it when I will be out of my hotel room all day. Recently, I thought about taking suitcase locks along with me so I can lock them. I'm sure TSA would cut them when flying, so I would not put them on the...

    Random things you pack

I'll be taking the following on my trip starting Labor Day weekend: 1. Chewable Pepto-Bismol: Takes up very little space and has saved a park trip on more than one occasion. 2. Moist wipes: Great for a mid-day refresher, especially on those hot, humid days. Enjoy! :thumbsup2

What Disney Tip Are you really glad you listened to?

I like to bring protein bars. They make a quick breakfast, are easy to carry and keep me full until I find a convenient lunchtime. Give it a try! :thumbsup2

    Bug Spray, Sunscreen and misters

Has anyone tried those bug repellant bands they have at Vitamin World? I tried one on a camping trip with inconclusive results. You might try one to see if that works...

    Major bag meltdown! Can't decide!

Knoebels is one of my favorite parks anywhere! In some ways, their Haunted Mansion beats Magic Kingdom's. The Phoenix is one of my all-time favorite coasters, anywhere! As a veteran amusement park visitor, I found that I am more likely to need a rain poncho and dry clothes at any Orlando...

What if the Expedition Everest car flew off the track?

    <Ferb Voice> Actually, roller coasters are safer than merry-go-rounds. </Ferb Voice> :stir:

Change in ESPN Club Seating Policy

It may just have been the time the OP went. Maybe if it was busy (busier), then they may want to seat people. They might change depending on the crowd or anticipated crowd, especially if there was a sporting event taking place. Many sports bars I've been to will ask if I want to sit in the...

    Pleasure Island/ The Adventurers Club

I miss 8 Trax! I loved watching all the people there dance who had never, ever been to a club before! In 2008, just before it closed, my DGF and I were there at the same time as a whole group of people from Microsoft. Hilarity ensued... popcorn::

Any MISTAKES made on past trips?

Absolutely! I saw a backpack I really liked last time I was there at one park, and then scoured throughout Hollywood Studios to find it on my last day! Of course, once I bought it, I found it at every other store. I think they just mess with me... :scratchin

What is your not so normal item to pack, which is helpful while at WDW ?

I bought one of these at Home Depot and can't wait to go somewhere to use it! I like that it comes with a cable which will charge things like my MP3 player, GPS & many common devices. Great find! :worship:

What Disney Tip Are you really glad you listened to?

When I get home, I put all the information into an Excel spreadsheet so I can do subtotals, etc. This way, I have something to which I can refer in planning subsequent trips. I was surprised how much I actually spent during one day at Disney, but next time I'll know better...

How much do you take for spending money?

On my latest trip last September, I kept track of all my expenses, credit or otherwise. It seemed to come in line with what other people were posting here, about $100/day. I did not have the dining plan and bought souvenirs from each park, just to futher clarify that amount, but $100/day...

What is your not so normal item to pack, which is helpful while at WDW ?

I have Sabres season tickets, so I keep my WDW visits during hockey off-season, which ends earlier than I wish... The commercial where the guy cuts in line at the restroom and the Bear puts his paw on his shoulder is hysterical! The looks on both their faces are priceless! Props, where due...
