Spirit of Aloha or Hoop Dee Doo?

Its a pretty rare occasion that the performers in the Hoop Dee Doo Revue end up half naked and twirling sticks that are on fire, so I say book the Spirit of Aloha. Oh yeah, the food. Not very good at either.

Watching fireworks from Contemporary fire escapes

Yes, but you'll get a better view at the viewing platform. My favorite spot is at the BLT parking entrance. There are two benches where you can sit and watch the fireworks explode over Space Mountain.

Harry Potter question UPDATED in post #35 with TRIP REPORT!!

Its a great place to go if you're into HP. Being in the Great Hall was trippy. Took the bus thats associated with the studio tour. Had a little trouble locating the bus stop, as we're not used to the naming/numbering system in Westminster.

    Anticipating a Bad Trip - Won't Go

I'd like to hear your solution to overcrowding. Do you jump the fence after the park is closed? ;)

The longest WDW trip you'd want?

Longest we've stayed is 14 days or so, which was of course, not long enough, even though my wife says I'm ready to pack it in after 4 days. I would stay as long as I could hold out for, alternating weeks between value/mod/deluxe. I've grown to love sitting by the pool, not doing a lot of...

    Disneyland Paris

We went to DLP after the ABD London and Paris. Stayed at DL Hotel. Didn't notice baby powder smell. DPL Magic Kingdom is great to explore, castle is fantastic. Other park not so much. If you're afraid of heights, you could ask a construction worker permission to climb up his scaffolding...

My name is Texas Crude, and I like FP+

We're here now, and FP+ has worked out well, which I'm a little shocked at. When Pirates went down this afternoon, we thought that we'd have missed out on that FP+, but the system sent us an email to let us know that we could pick 1 out of 5 attraction FP+ as compensation. We had the rest of the...

    Path to Nowhere

Just visited the path between the MK boat launch and the GF. Anyone know if there is a story behind why this is here? I've never seen anybody on it, except myself.

    Are magic hours worth it?

EMH in AM are a must for us. We get to rope drop and enjoy an hour with low crowds. Now with FP+, you can make sure that your FP+ ride times are after EMH for the rides you didn't already go on.

Surprised by Saving Mr. Banks...Just Got Back from the Theater....

I think if anyone in the movie deserves an award its the actress who played P.L. as a child. The way that kid showed devotion to her dad was haunting.

    How I would enhance FP+

This, of course, will eventually be offset by the 2-3 additional hotels that Disney will build to accommodate the dangerously low levels of tourists at the parks. ;)
