I agree - We have been there in the past for Jersey week and the crowds were not bad. It is a good week to pull the kids out of school since they will only miss 2 days that week.

I agree - it is something to see once. Pretty expensive for what you get. Food was just okay.

Cape May Cafe (Beach Club) has a very good character breakfast - not too crowded.

Did you ever try swimming with dolphins? There are quite a few places in FL that you can search.

You just brought back nightmares I had of driving straight through to Florida from New Jersey. We usually stop overnight in Savannah, GA now. Great report so far. My son would love the pirate themed room at your resort too. Sounds like someone may want a new pool when she gets home!

Also - don't forget about the water pagent! Always nice to watch from the beach.

And these are the only people who can use them! (No pool hopping allowed there)

It seems like the day the Halloween decorations come down, the holiday decorations start going up.

I know that the cartoons were on at the Boardwalk Villas and the Polynesian last August - I still can't get that Steamboat Willie music out of my head! My kids must have watched it 100 times!

I agree with everything you said. I have been there during a few hurricane / tropical storms over the years and never had any problems. The CM's have everything cleaned up so quickly after the storm's end - you would not even know there was a storm!

Congratulations on your "alone" trip. We have kids the same age as yours, maybe the wife and I will try to sneak away to WDW without the kids for a few days - must have been nice. Great pics by the way.

I like the filets at the Yachtsmans and Shula's.
