Changes To Dining Plans May-June 2015

When it says you can trade a QS credit for 3 snacks, but not at kiosks-- I'm confused as to what constitutes a kiosk. For example, could we use a QS meal credit to get 3 dole whips? Or a QS meal credit for 3 funnel cakes at Sleepy Hollow? Thanks to anyone who can clarify if these are considered...

    Last minute help

    Last minute help

Hi, My family just moved to California this week. While we're living in a hotel waiting on housing, we figured that maybe we should just head down to DL and have some fun while we wait. We've been to wdw many times, and I'm a pretty thorough researcher. But this is our first time in DL, and...

    military ticket clarification

The WDW website says that the 4-day promo tix have to be purchased by Sept 28, 2011. Is this a typo from before the program was extended? We plan to go in the spring of 2012 and I would hate to miss the chance to buy the mil tix if that date is accurate!?!

    Weight/Height

We just got back from our trip. This time my 3 yr old was 40 inches and could ride some of the bigger attractions. He's not a very stocky kid either. For Big Thunder Mtn and Test Track, we put our arm around him and cradled his head for the jerkier movements. I'm sure it would have been fine...

The WDW sign when driving in

He's three and a half. In his defense, he has a 7pm bedtime and I suppose these days it's still kind of light out then:confused3 The other reason he always asks me is b/c he's allowed to take some animal friends with him at naptime, but not at bedtime. (He would wake us in the middle of the...

The WDW sign when driving in

My oldest can read a bit, but they are both familiar with all things Disney and I think they'll put it all together. Since we'll have to explain our day of driving somehow, we plan to tell them that we're surprising them with a trip to a fun hotel with a pool, and that there will be lots of...

    Mister fans - current price?

If I were you, I'd give my nephew the choice of 1) the cheaper one from Wal-something or 2) a bottle of water that he can dump on his head Then the cheaper option might be looking better to him :thumbsup2 Don't forget to pack extra batteries!!

The WDW sign when driving in

Thanks! Those map shots are awesome! So helpful!! I'll save a new video for the last hour or so of the trip. The way my kids watch TV, I could probably drive through Magic Kingdom and they wouldn't notice.

The WDW sign when driving in

This is only our second time driving (We're military so we haven't lived w/in driving distance before) so I don't think that they'll catch on. Especially my son-- every time I tell him to hop into bed he asks me whether it's nap time or bed time. Seriously? The big yellow sun doesn't clear...

The WDW sign when driving in

I have an odd question-- we are arriving on Sunday, driving down from North Carolina. This is a surprise trip for our 5 & 3 year olds, and we're planning to keep them in the dark until we drive under the big WDW sign. I want to have the camera on and ready to tape their reaction as they see...

Does anyone else need LGMHs mailed to them?

That's very nice of you :) I'd take you up on it, only it wouldn't come in time. We leave this weekend! I have to share my excitement on the boards b/c my hubby is out of town until the day before we leave, and it's a surprise for the kids.

Help me feel better about our trip...

Goodness. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's accident. That must be a hard adjustment for the whole family. I hope this trip is a good chance for you all to enjoy being together and an opportunity to prove to yourselves that you can start a "new normal" together. Is it possible...

    Is Princess Tiana around?

Yes. On our last trip, we met her in MK along w/ Prince Naveen. One of our favorite meet and greets-- they were very friendly. Someone else can probably remember the exact location. It was kind of behind Liberty Square.

What order do you plan in?

This is what we do... 1) Plan which park for which day based on crowd calendars. 2) Know the first couple of things that we want to do-- For example, in MK we know that my DH will grab FPs for Space Mtn while I make my way to Dumbo w/ the kids. He meets us in Fantasyland and we do those...

Your worst moment at a Disney park?

Two trips ago, my 1 year old DS got super sick and ended up getting an ambulance ride for CSR and being admitted to the ICU. On top of being fearful for his health, I had the worst sinus infection of my life and ended up being awake for 36 hours straight. It wasn't just my worst Disney...
