Sorry you had a poor experience! Happens to a lot of us... you really cannot conceive of how hot and humid it gets in Florida until you visit for the first time! The heat can really zap the energy and "the happy" out of people who aren't used to it - as a Florida resident annual passholder I see...
I'm not sure about a couple of items on the list - knowing that Disney has a paid service for floral, in room gifts, and celebration cakes, I would be surprised if a guest could request this stuff without being being asked to pay for it. A piece of birthday cake at a restaurant - that is surely...
Hi there! I'm sure you are excited about your upcoming trip. I haven't been on a Disney cruise (I don't know what Fish Extender is) but I can tell you about some additional amenities and extra touches you could enjoy at WDW.
When you check in, be sure to review the resort activities calendar...
For the food alone, we love the Casey's Corner menu - fries and mini corn dogs are our faves. However, we have never been able to get one of the tables immediately outside of the restaurant. We usually have to hike across the street towards Tomorrowland to find a place to sit and eat. Because...
I'm not a fan of Disney's table service kid's entrees. Particularly at dinner, they don't usually offer much variety or even the typical kid's fare like nuggets, cheeseburgers and pizza at the TS restaurants. My advice would be to check out the menus before dining there. My kids have been...
I'm not sure of all of the ingredients but the combination is just - wow! Super delicious and packed with nutrition to give you lots of energy. Even if you don't typically like the individual ingredients you might like this combination.
We are annual passholders - my husband uses a GAC for walking and standing issues - they give him a GAC at his request - we took his handicap tag the first time to show them and Guest Relations said they wouldn't look at or review any documentation as "we are not doctors and not trained to...
We are annual pass holders and my husband has used a GAC for a couple of months, every since a knee procedure that made his knees worse. Disney only provides a GAC for a few weeks at a time so you have to get a replacement. He went to get one about a week ago and they gave him one - no questions...
OP, as I read your post I could almost feel the dread and trepidation regarding this kind of relationship for your son.
My gut reaction was no, absolutely not, they're too young. But as I read the posts that followed, I thought they made a pretty good case.
The only thing not addressed...
I agree! It's so frustrating to get to a store with my one or two coupons to buy something at a great price and the whole shelf is wiped out! Of course, I'll admit my judgement is tinged with envy. :guilty: I'm not as good at the extreme "sport" that is couponing:teacher:
I wouldn't mind to...
Yep! We love it here! I just updated my profile to show my location - I realized it still said Indiana. ;) We are in Debary which is just north of Lake Mary, Fl.
I guess you are moving to Winter Haven?
We are not a military family - I can say from experience I transferred for my job and my hubby did not qualify for unemployment in the state of Florida. You would want to read up on the topic on Colorado's web site. I imagine states have different policies. Florida, having a high transient...
My math tells me you would have to spend $3750.00 not just the $375.00 to recoup the COST of the card. I guess I'm saying, why give Disney an extra $75.00? :confused3 I'd tip the 18% too but saving only 2%? That's a lot of table service meals.
I guess the problem for us is we won't do enough table service to recoup the $75.00. We absolutely tip at least 18% - maybe not at a bar but generally yes we'll tip between 15 - 20% at restaurants.
By the way, my claim was you have to spend $3750.00 not $375.00 on table service meals to...
We took our niece and nephew there when they were pre-teens and we all loved it! We only did the actual Mammoth Cave Park - none of the kitschy stuff. We took a guided tour but sorry I don't remember the name. It was not the lantern tour but that looked cool. It was extensive - at least an hour...
I'm disappointed in the TIW card. I did the math and realized we've essentially paid $75.00 for a card that offers a 2% discount on table service restaurants and value resort food courts. If you are thinking of shelling out $75.00 - $100.00 on this card consider how much you will actually use...
Welcome! We just moved here in October. We wanted to avoid paying parking even the first time! Our basic annual pass comes with free parking and access to the 4 parks.
After we got our Florida drivers licenses, we went to downtown Disney to the West side. Right beside Disney Quest are...
