Greek Isles--which side of the ship?

We are doing the 9 night Greek Isles cruise in 2025. Booking opens for us tomorrow. Does anyone have a suggestion for which side of the ship is better or if it matters? Thanks!

    DCL cruisers tried Royal...

We have only ever sailed DCL. A part of me feels like we should try something else (21 cruises and counting!), but then again, if we are all happy and enjoying it, why? My daughter just turned 18, and I asked her if she wanted to do a different cruise line and she looked at me like I'd grown a...

"Disney trips are so complicated now that you need a class to plan one"

We literally just got back and my post-trip survey had a lot of questions about my planning, how I used Genie+ and what types of advance planning I preferred. Interesting.

Thoughts on our first (and maybe only) concierge sailing

We sailed concierge once on the Dream. It was nice. Not like...amazing, but nice. Would not do it again, personally, unless we got a really great deal. Just didn't feel like how we travel made the perks offered worth it, since we are not in the room much, particularly on the shorter cruises...

*HHI Owners and Beach Lovers Group Thread*

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ve taken screenshots so I can check out the restaurants. Anyone have a really nice place for a birthday dinner? Has anyone done the ziplining?

*HHI Owners and Beach Lovers Group Thread*

Hello! My daughter and I are headed to HHI for MLK weekend in January to celebrate her 18th birthday. Last time we visited, she was 5, but we also went in the winter as we are not big on the beach since we live on the Gulf coast in Florida and we have a pool, so no need for that. We like the...

Just off B2B Fantasy Eastern & Western

We (48, 17, 74, and 10) just got off a B2B of the June 10-17, June 17-24 Eastern and Western on the Fantasy. Had a fantastic time! Bennett and Ricky were our serving team and Putu our host. Our stateroom was 6078, great location. We did the following excursions: Tortola: Day at the Baths St...

STAR WARS: GALACTIC STARCRUISER Official Information & Questions Thread

Sad to see this close. We really wanted to do it, but couldn't justify the price, though everyone seems to rave about it. Unfortunate they couldn't have figured out a way to make it more affordable while maintaining the level of experience, but I guess that was simply not practical. Ah, well...

    "Official" 2023 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Get Spooky!

For resort guests who can book on April 27, how does that work? If I sign onto MDE, will it give me that option b/c it knows I have reservations at a Disney resort for a party night?

Bottled Water service on Fantasy - Is Evian Available.

I was wondering about this very same thing! We sail in June, and I was looking at pre-ordering the water, but all they have online is Dasani. I definitely remember from prior cruises that you could order Evian onboard. Curious if that is still an option for the Fantasy or if you are stuck with...

    Cozumel excursions

We did this one in December and enjoyed it. It wasn't great by any means, but good. A bit of a letdown after Progreso where we had a great excursion (Mayapan Ruins and Cenote Swim). For our June cruise, I have the helmet dive booked for Cozumel, but I've heard mixed things on that and keep...

Who is designing the Disney Treasure?

For what little it is worth, our head server on our December Magic Cruise said DCL was definitely going to be putting a ship in Asia soon. He wasn't sure which one, but he seemed certain it would happen and said it was a big deal to the crew b/c so many were from that area so it was easier to...

Northern Europe Cruise-Dining Time with Kids ages 6, 10, 12?

I struggled with this choice when my daughter and I did the Baltic B2B with the Norway cruise. My TA recommended late dinner so we would have longer in port and not be so rushed, which I did on the first leg of the B2B. I changed it for the second leg. It was just too late for us to eat, she...

    Pearl Castaway level?

Yay! They needed a new tier. We aren’t Pearl yet, but will be on our 18th in a few weeks. 19, 20, and 21 are booked for 2023 (my daughter’s last opportunity for Vibe before aging out). Interested to see what benefits there might be.

Bob Iger named Disney CEO in shocking development

This is where I come down on things. Iger, of course, wants to make money for the company and increase the stock price for investors. That's a given. But, I do think he had a vision for the company and understood that this is a long-term brand investment that needs to flourish by nourishing its...

    Why Disney, WHY??

I definitely preferred the new way, but, having said that, honestly, we were so crammed in together at dinners, shows, activities, the bus, etc., I don't think standing out on deck is really the dealbreaker. The new way is much easier and more convenient, but I can admit that it didn't...

Disney Cruise Line and Hurricane Protocol - Any experience?

My brother and his wife had a honeymoon cruise where they spent the first night still anchored in Port Canaveral due to a storm. Other ships left, but Disney stayed, and wow, that was a good decision! There were videos after of some of the ships going through the storm and it was rough. The...

    How is the Disney Wonder?

I love any Disney ship, but the Classics are my favorite. They are just so intimate and well-designed. The crew has always been amazing. Also, I really loved Promenade lounge. LOVED. It's my absolute favorite place to sit and have a drink next to those big, round windows. Haven't tried the new...

Who else is freaking out their spouse is going to accidentally order the $5,000 cocktail in Hyperspace Lounge on the Wish?

I saw on Scott Gustin's twitter that the $5K drink comes with (among other things) entry to Skywalker Ranch, which is not open to the public. So...that's actually pretty cool. If I had $5K to drop, that's something I'd definitely do as a once in a lifetime opportunity kind of thing.
