    Which restaurant in Japan?

Another vote for Teppan Edo!! I always feel it is a good use of my dining credits and of the 4 times I have eaten there I have never had bad food. I also enjoy the fact you get sat with other vacationers if you have a smaller party, because then you get to meet some wonderful new people. As...

    Breakfast at Chef Mickey's?

The atmosphere is very loud, but can be fun. During a meal the characters take time out to dance and you are encouraged to swing your napkins and such. Kids seem to really enjoy the atmosphere and the character interaction, but it can be a bit much early in the morning ;) Also, in my...

Help me decide... Fort cabin vs. PORS vs. AKL vs. BW vs. BC!!! LOL!

You didn't mention if you would have a car or would be using Disney's bus transportation. I feel that can make a difference when including kids. If you are driving and location isn't as much an issue then only the cabins would involve more walking or using the internal bus to reach your cabin...

Does anyone have something nice to say about the Poly?

I agree that with any room at any hotel it can be hit or miss on cleanliness and minor maintenance issues. As someone stated if you find the room unsatisfactory then you just need to speak up. Besides enjoying the rooms and grounds at Poly I love the onsight restaurants. Can't beat having...

    Moderate Resort: which one???

I prefer CSR especially since the rooms were so recently updated. I feel the POFQ and PO are a bit in need of a rehab. CSR is a bit bigger of a resort, but I have never had an issue with walking especially at CSR where the landscaping is beautiful and grounds peaceful. We have stayed at CBR...

    Signature Dining ???'s

I think most restaurants at Disney are pretty kid friendly even signature restaurants. Most offer a menu to color on or something of the sort to entertain children. Truthfully, I would say Yachtsman or Flying Fish is a little more laid back then California Grill. As for dress code most state...

    Tell me about Kona Cafe...

We have ate at Kona for both lunch and dinner and they were wonderful. The one thing I like about Kona is that each time we seem to get in pretty close to our ADR time, whereas other restaurants we wait 20+ minutes passed. Sometimes it is the simple pleasures at Disney - like less waiting ;)...

    POP Vs. POFQ ?

I think a good majority of posters would steer you towards Port Orleans, because as a moderate it does offer a few more ammenities (i.e. hot tubs, coffee pot, and refrigerator). Yet, you stated you loved ASMo and the big iconic theming and Port Orleans theming is much more laid back and less...

1 day MK with 5 yr old

As the above poster stated days with parties and/or no extra magic hours are usually less crowded. This would mean shorter lines to see the princesses which is a win win situation for the parents and children ;).

The best thing you ever ate?

On our most recent trip in September we ate at Jiko for the first time and I adored the food from start to finish. We began with the taste of Africa, moved on to the oak grilled filet mignon, and finished with some sort of chocolate mousse dessert......fabulous. I also really enjoyed the...

Need some help choosing a restaurant

My 6 year old son and I enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern as well as The Plaza at MK. Liberty Tree Tavern is served family style and the food was delicious but very filling, whereas the Plaza Restaurant is more sandwich type food with fabulous shakes and sundaes. We loved both, but I must say it was...

The Wave or Grand Flordian Cafe?

I concur with the above poster.....the wave isn't a seafood restaurant. My son and I just ate at the Wave for lunch this September and it was one of our favorite meals of the trip. Despite being free dining time the restaurant was only half full which made for a very quiet and enjoyable meal...

MNSSHP Sept 14th - Who's Going? And What are you Dressing up as?

My DS (6) and I will be there, but since we are going to the party on the 18th too I think we are going to wait and dress-up for that one. I will be Ms. Piggy (nose and all :)) and my son is thinking the chesire cat. I love seeing everyone dressed up!

How will FD-2011 affect bounce back offers?

Sometimes the BB offers include dates that the general public offer doesn't include. I am hoping by some miracle it will include some summer dates.

OK...I'm Going to let YOU chose our resort for a night

I voted for Beach Club simply since you are going to Epcot the next day. How nice to be able to wake up and walk to your park of choice.

    Crystal Palace late breakfast

We always prefer a later breakfast time for the reason a PP stated "characters tend to come around multiple times". We tend to go to character meals for the interaction vs the food aspect and we have realized that when you go later the food is still fresh and good and the characters tend to...

Why Won't You Sit With Us?

I have no problem with sharing a table if it was pre-planned (i.e. eating at Teppan Edo), but otherwise I would probably be one of those people taken aback if someone asked me to sit with them or tried to join my table at a CS restaurant. I am a little on the shy side (though my husband would...

Can a Resort "put a damper" on your WDW vacation?

I agree with the new edited title of "put a damper on your trip". We still had a great time on all our trips, but the bus transportation at different resorts has made my family a little cranky at least until we got to the parks ;).

    Coranado Spring/Value Resorts?

We stayed at both resorts and I didn't feel as though the walk from the bus stop at Pop was any longer than the walk to our room at CSR. Yes, CSR has multiple bus stops so you could be closer but it comes down to where you get placed. At least at CSR you would have a better chance of getting a...

    Choosing a moderate resort help

Here is another vote for CSR. The new updated rooms are great and I find the grounds very peaceful and secluded. Plus, I liked how it was more centrally located to all the parks.
