What is the best park to be at for New Yrs Eve? Do different parks have different celebrations? What are the celebrations, if any?

Our travel dates this yr are Dec 28th-Jan 4th. Does Disney offer deals (30% Off room only or Free Dining) during this week? Has anyone gotten these deals before? DH is afraid since we're traveling over a holiday and one of the busiest times of the yr that WDW won't offer any deals. Any help...

I think that would be a great idea to relieve some of the crowds. I would even be ok w/ a smaller dinner portion.

We love Yak & Yeti. And I agree, two buffet's back to back would be a bit much. I didn't think Tusker House was anything to write home about.

We were there last week. On the 11th when we came in it was cheerleader mania EVERYWHERE so pay attn to the cheer competition schedules. By Tues, the crowds had died down some until on Fri when the President's Day weekend crowds came in.

The only ride photos that are eligible for Photopass is on Test Track. After you get off of the ride, there is a place to scan your Photopass card. I wish more of the rides offered this option. :confused3:confused3:confused3

Here are some fun ones we have done over the yrs. God love my DH and his boyish nature. We dressed them up in Aerosmith gear and showed them how to make rocker poses. Yes, we make gangster poses w/ the 3D glasses. Gotta pass the time somehow. more to come...

We did the exact same thing last week and it worked perfectly. (only we had to wait for our actual FP times to ride TSM, the standby line was already at 60mins and climbing).

When my HUSBAND chickened out on Everest, they simply told him that when the ride pulls up just to walk on and then off the ride and go down the exit. At least my eleven yr old niece rode w/ me on the next one. :lmao:

We love watching Wishes from the Poly beach and from the top deck at the Contemporary. We had booked an ADR at Boardwalk on our DHS day so we could ride on the boat. The boat rides and waterways at WDW always seem so peaceful and romantic to me. Plus it's a nice way to take a break in the middle...

love bugs. yep they were everywhere last week. i noticed them the worst in MK and AK. More vegatation I guess in those parks.
