    Will I regret it?

My red-headed little Weasley might think that too :(

    Will I regret it?

We usually visit both parks the week before Memorial Day and have enjoyed the lower crowds. This year, our schedules might force a late July or early August visit. Will we regret it? My intention is to stay onsite for Express privileges. We've regular visitors so it's not a...

    Tell me about Montessori school...

DS9 has attended a Montessori school since Pre-K and will be there through 5th grade (though ours goes through 8th). I attended the same Montessori school as a child for a few years but it was much smaller then. DS9 has ADHD and Montessori has been a godsend for him. He works well in a...

    Had a pedicure today...

I have used A&D diaper ointment for years. It works wonderfully.

Anyone been to Dollywood and or rented a cabin ?

We live about 2 1/2 hours away and go to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg about once a year (at least). We've had really good success with Mountain Laurel Chalets and Timber Tops Rentals.

What fashion fad do you wish you could forget?

:lmao: I was just thinking about the three pairs of different colored socks. Ties and hats with big flowers for girls (think Blossom) :rolleyes1: I'm not sure what they were called but those plastic round things you could use to scrunch up and tie your shirt to one side. It was almost...

Does your child's school still do Valentines Day Parties?

Ditto. DS7 goes to a private Montessori school and we still have these three parties. The menu is pretty set though. We have volunteer slots for 2 cookie trays, 1 veggie tray, 1 fruit tray and juice and milk. It's always an afternoon thing right before their last recess of the day.

My Son Won't Take His Medicine - Ideas?

Ditto this. DS7 was horrible about taking medicines. I used a syringe to squirt him and blew in his face to make his reflexively swallow. Makes you feel bad but it gets it down. Eventually he realized that it was simpler to just take the meds. That's one of the better tasting ones...

Tell me about WDW roller coasters (trying to overcome fear!) UPDATE in post #19

I have the exact same issues! I cannot deal with drops. :crazy2: However, I have found that Disney drops are mostly (for me) manageable. I do like to go fast though ;) Big Thunder - I'm good on this one. It's more swoopy small drops - not a climb up a hill and shoot down. The drops are...

    Tiebreaker - MNSSHP vs. MVMCP

DH totally set me up for this. :lmao: These trips would be like a month to a month and a half apart. Does that matter? Is that too much? Or is that like asking is there such a thing as too much pixie dust? Bueller? Bueller? Anybody? I have actually also considered doing what I call...

    Tiebreaker - MNSSHP vs. MVMCP

I'm beginning to suspect my DH had a secret motive in mind when he said, "Go ask the people on that Disney board. They'll tell you what to do." :scratchin: We drive - it's only about 9 hours for us. I'm talking myself into this. :rotfl2:

    Tiebreaker - MNSSHP vs. MVMCP

We typically stay on property but do not do the dining plan. I casually tossed around the idea of an AP since we have a trip/cruise planned for 2014. Of course, an AP would cheapen the trip(s) all the way around and give us a TIW card. I think I'm enabling myself :thumbsup2

I am almost done volunteering for things

Bwwwahahahahaha! That's exactly what we're doing. :rotfl2: Unfortunately, it's not nearly as fun as it sounds. ;)

    Tiebreaker - MNSSHP vs. MVMCP

We have never been to WDW during the Christmas season, and it's something that's definitely on my bucket list. DH has proposed that we make our annual trip an "adults only" this year during late October in order to partake in F&W and MNSSHP. :cool1: I LOVE that time of year specifically...

    Sea food

I need to find some recipes to prepare fish. We keep saying we're going to eat more but I don't really know what to do with it. I would love some ideas on how to bake something like mahi. We like stuff grilled or backed. Fresh Market sells a coconut crusted mahi that all you do is heat up...

I am almost done volunteering for things

Oh, this thread is so timely for me to read today. DS7's school has a big event every year where each classroom becomes a country. The kids have art projects about that country, make presentation posters, and learn all about it for a few weeks. It culminates with a single night event where...

    Victoria's Secret vent!

Ditto. I only wore their cotton panties for as long as I can remember. However, now they are cheaply made. Mine have been cropping up with holes at the seams that absolutely should not be there. I also don't like that they've changed their cuts. I always wore a high leg brief and it's now...

Fantasy 2014 Opening Day Compiled Pricing Thread

Sorry. Didn't realize this would be a problem. I thought it was like checking AP rates where Gold/Platinum members could sign in to access the pricing.
