    Pin trading at disney springs

I've seen reports of locations for pin trading on the parks since re-opening but I haven't seen anything about Disney Springs. Are there any pin trading locations currently open at DS?

Walking to the parks from S Walnut st

Thanks for the feedback. We've got a few independent teens with us who will want to do their own thing, but we'll make sure to travel in a group when heading back at night. And we might just uber back on the late nights depending on how tired we are.

Thanks for the link. I had searched the topic a week or two ago and didn't see much in recent posts and then didn't search again before posting this morning.

Walking to the parks from S Walnut st

We've got a large family group going to disney next month so we decided to rent a house instead of several hotel rooms. We're staying at a place on S Walnut St. near Ball Ave across from the Holiday Inn. I've looked at maps and think i have a good idea of the route to take, but my question is...

    June 2019 Check In

We'll be at DL for 3 days during the week of June 16-23 (not sure of the exact park days yet) with a group of about 15, staying at a rental house on s. walnut across from the parking garage. We've got SWGE reservations for June 19th from 5-9pm.

Everything you need to know about MagicBands.

Thanks for the help. I made my reservation on line and it shows up in MDE. But I had to make a change to our reservation this morning, shifting our dates by a day, and now the customize option shows up. So whatever the issue was, it got corrected when I edited our reservation.

Everything you need to know about MagicBands.

Apologies if this has already been answered, I did a quick search and didn't see an answer anywhere. We last went to WDW about 2.5 years ago and have reservations to finally go back this August. I don't see anywhere that says we can customize our magicbands for this trip. It shows each member...

    News Round Up 2016

That and all the kids (mine included) "browsing" the flavors and taking a lot longer to mix their drinks. It's a good concept but the lines are always longer at the places I've been that have the machines.

    PizzeRizzo opens this fall!

I agree that the traditional QS round pizzas aren't good but I've found the newer flat breads to be pretty good. But that's my pizza preference, super thin crispy crust.

    News Round Up 2016

It's about when you can make your FP+ selections. It used to be that you could make them starting at 12am 60 days out. Now you have to wait until 7am 60 days out (or 30 days, etc depending on your ticket type). For our last trip I was up at midnight on a sunday night to make sure my girls got...

Advice Needed, 4 Yr Old GS scared of Characters

My experience has been a lot like others. I had a 3 year old that was terrified of people in costume at parades and other events. Like climbing up into our arms shaking terrified. So we were concerned about her first trip to WDW but for some reason she had no fear at all with the disney...

Exactly. It may be nit picky, but it's probably more accurate to say "it's not just a zoo" than to say "it's not a zoo".

    BOG Lunch

Another vote for the braised pork. It was by far the best quick service meal I had on my last trip.

Maybe the 7DMT car? That's my guess.

I'd love to see a few pedestrian bridges and walkways connecting HS to AoA. I don't think you can easily walk between the two right now.

Souvenir buying advice for those on tight budgets

We usually allow our kids to pick out one "big" item in the $20-$30 range per trip and new ears or a hat has become a tradition too. On our last trip we also let them each pick out a pin in the under $10 range. That usually ends up being a total of about $60 or so per kid. We also bring with...

    News Round Up

I hope so, World of Color is one of my favorite attractions in any Disney park and AK is my favorite Disney park setting. I'd love to see the two combined.

    News Round Up

If the fire is similar to what they have at the World of Color show at California Adventure, it shouldn't be an issue for the animals with proper planning. The radius where you see, hear and feel the fire is much smaller than for fireworks. And no real, loud boom either.

Any Husbands here do all the planning?

I am the official travel agent for our family, and not just for Disney trips. We decide as a family where we want to go and for how long (often from a list that I've come up with) and then I come back to my wife with a proposed itinerary and costs. It's sort of a hobby of mine, I get kind of...

Indulging yourself...where the cost is worth it!

One "indulgence" that we did on our last trip that was well worth the money was sending our kids to a Child Activity Center while we had an adults only dinner. I want to say it's a minimum of $30 per kid ($15 per hour, 2 hour minimum per kid when we did it), but that included a dinner that they...
