Since you said you were concerned about hip damage, I would stay away from the "bjorn" style carriers. Ring slings will put him on your hip and he can see out but still turn away if over stimulated. An ergo, boba or beco will keep the hips aligned properly and have him face toward you. And...

Does anybody know if you can get almond milk on board? It's the only "milk" my 20 month old will drink. Or should I try to see if he will drink soy milk just for the cruise? Thanks! :)

My DS likes typhoon lagoon. He went at 8 mo, 12mo and 17 mo. He liked to splash in the smaller kid pools and float with us in the lazy river. :) Swimmers are okay. ( they have to be in a swim diaper)

You are way more crafty than I am. I only just started sewing knits, I don't even know where to start with swimwear! :) hopefully we will see them on the cruise.

You really should. No life jackets are required now and it's electronic. Disney does a pretty good job at keeping it to about 15-20 min. I think in may we only waited 7. So it's not too bad. :)

It's cruise casual for 2 nights, so jeans and a nice shirt. Nothing too fancy. Pirate night for a night, we have worn jeans and pirate t-shirts, but I think we're going with pirate costumes this year. Semi-formal night, cocktail dress, suit for the DH and DS. (Same for Palo) or khakis and polo...
