    Any "Bad" Lyft Experiences?

Cabs, I wanted to support them when the rideshares taking over, hit them hard. That was until a ride home from the Airport where the driver seemed angry, swearing under his breath and driving eratically. That was the last time I have taken that cab service and have used Uber / Lyft ever since.

    Any "Bad" Lyft Experiences?

Totally agree with the streets seemingly confusing some of the Chicago Uber drives. I rarely had weird Uber experiences, until Chicago LOL. They weren't absolutely terrible, just weird. But, I also met a driver there that must have have been the BEST driver I have had ever. Funny how its goes...

WDW without a car (am I mad?)

For the first time last summer, I rented a car for the whole trip, picking it up and dropping it back off at the airport. And I have to say, while it was convenient for picking up groceries and having a parking space near the room, I actually missed the Disney transportation experience. At the...

Are Deluxe Resort bus stops closer to park entrances?

When I originally answered, it was based on the walk to the busses when leaving the parks/DS. But when being dropped off heading TO the park, the locations vary and aren't ever as far as the furthest return pick up spots are.

Are Deluxe Resort bus stops closer to park entrances?

Having stayed at all of the values, many times, I can say for certain that the values are usually the furthest away. Especially POP/AOA! The moderates, I have been three, and also two deluxe. I feel like it varies with the mods, but CB always seems to be the furthest of all of them. And to me...

Help Me Decide between Pop and CBR

Debating the same thing right now. CB is more peaceful. Pop gives me energy. I prefer the queue for the busses at POP. No jostling for position and the drama of who got there before the other. The Skyliner is more convenient at CB than at POP, because the Riviera station can be just as close as...

What's Your Favorite Song on Guardians of the Galaxy?

I didn't even realize at first that there were multiple songs haha. Rode it twice so far, and had "One Way or Another" both times. Hoping to get "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" or "September" next time!

    Summer WDW Offers

Hoping this does happen! For years prior to the pandemic, I used to wish that August discounts would be released in January because I just couldn't wait to book! Now, the one year that I was NOT sure about booking yet, is the year that they release them in January:crazy2:

Mears or Private Transportation for late night flight arrival?

This was over a year ago, but my flight got in past 11pm and Mears still ran the bus. It did stop at another resort in addition to where I was headed.

    Uber/Lyft cost?

Google "Uber Estimate" and the first option that shows up should give you the desktop version of Uber. There you can type in your location/destination.

    Vehicle sizes?

A few years ago, I had a full size rental for four people, each with large luggage. I can't remember the model, but it might have been a Maxima. That trunk BARELY shut with those four bags inside! The backpacks were jammed in the middle of the backseat between the two rear passengers.

    Highest rates ever at Swan/Dolphin

A Gartner Expo event took over the whole lobby of Dolphin last year (I think it was on the Wednesday) , if they do it again, it will be very hard to miss them. It was kind of a mixer thing with mini bars set up. Also one night, there was an event at Universal and the lines for the busses were up...

Uber XL with 3 suitcases and a double stroller

That should be fine. Its an airport, and in my experience, its not typical that one of the smaller 3rd row vehicles shows up. You will probably get a full size SUV.

What are the real benefits these days to staying on property?

To me, the Disney transporation is a huge benefit. Its nice to not have to drive or pay for a ride if you don't feel like driving.

    Uber for five people?

Unless someone sits up front next to the driver, you might need an XL for both size parties. Do you really want to cram three people into the back of what might end up being a small compact car, plus another up front? I got an Altima for an UberX recently, and that would not have even been...

    Uber with car seat

You will need an Uberxl, or two UberX and split up your group. If you get an XL, unless someone rides up front, that means three people seated in third row, and three people in the 2nd row with the car seat. That sounds fine if its a Suburban or Navigator or similar. But, keep in mind that the...

    Uber Car Seat from MCO

There are inflatable booster seats available, for use between ages 4-11. My niece and her mom live in the city with no car, and she had one to use in ride shares.
