Hi everyone,
Just a quick question, what's been the policy or experience from people taking their 2 year old to sit down meals at Disney? No problems with eating off of our plate as he doesn't eat much but are they normally charged for their drinks? He'd mostly drink apple juice or milk...
I've bought 2 refurbed touches from Apple and have been using them almost 2 years now with no problems. They replace the battery and screen (I think its in the fineprint somewhere).
If you do a lot of reading, take a look at libraries that offer out of state memberships. Depending on how much you use it, it might be worth it. I know that the NYC library has out of state memberships and has a huge collection of ebooks.
I'm hoping someone can answer this question for me. I will be travelling with 4 kids so means lots of snacks. I'd like to pack some pre-packaged non-perishable snacks (granola bars, pre-packed cookies, fish crackers etc) in our checked luggage. I am flying into Florida from Toronto Canada...
Last time we went, we took our 6 month old along with our other 3 kids 3, 5, and 7 at that time and stayed for 7 days. No troubles at all and we pulled many 12 plus hour days. We did sit down lunches and dinners to cool them down. They were tired but had fun.
This is such a fantastic idea. I would really appreciate if anyone could do this for my kids. I have four kids (8,7,5, and 2) and would really appreciate if someone would send one for them. We arrive at WDW on Apr 29th. I will gladly return the favor for anyone interrested.
Thanks a bunch...
We are looking at 2 adults and 4 kids (8,7,5,2). 8 days/7nights at the all star music family room with park tickets and meal plan. Its costing us $5200 including air fare which I thought was a fantastic price by our travel agent. This is why we can't do this often.
Kids got in to have lunch...
Wondering whether any locals or people who have been to disney in late April can tell me whether mosquitoes are a problem. We live in Canada and the mosquito repellants have not come out yet so can't seem to find any yet. If required, any recommendations for where to get some close to the...
I have had an S2IS for many years and will be the camera I take with me. The SX10 etc have taken over the series and are extremely highly rated. I have had Canon cameras for years and have been extremly happy with the results.
Now I shoot DSLR cameras but still like the simplicity of my S2
I just got a skype account and did all my reservations etc using skype. I have used it heavily for business trips etc and I find the quality acceptable for what I need to do. They have a new $4.00/month for unlimited long distance calls as well.
I have 3 and 5 year old girls and they play the little pony games quite effectively. The 3 year old loves it. My 5 year old likes to play other games like Sonic, anything with Mario as well (because of her brother).
If your daughter has a hard time reading, might look at the Dora and Diego...
Just checked out the alamo deal, it was $14 (all taxes included) for pick up on Friday and return saturday. If you have a credit card that will cover the insurance etc, its a great deal. I'm thinking of doing something similar just to have a car to do some shopping
Another vote for the Honda, I've been driving one Honda or another for 10 years at least without a single problem.
I have driven domestics for various business trips (caravans and even the odd Hyunday van) and I can say that it doesn't compare.
Let me know if both of you are interrested in a 3 way share. I would even look at doing the hosting. I think that I'd just upload them onto my online photo account and each could download directly from the web instead of having to wait for the CD to arrive (also would save on mailing the CD's...
HI everyone, I will be heading to Disney with my four kids next month and have some serious equipment concerns.
I own a DSLR with a couple of basic lenses and a couple of primes, a Canon S1100 and a Canon S2IS.
My wife is definitely taking the small elph camera but I'm trying to decide...
Also, look at the Creative Zen, I have a 4GB model and they have 8GB models as well. These have a larger screen than the nano and have an FM tuner, voice recorder, etc. The best part is that I added a 16GB flash card for $20 and now I have 20GB's worth of media in it. Video on it is amazing...
Thanks for the replies, I think its clearer now. The baby carrier is definitely coming and yes it will be a hand full with our 4 kids with no other adults coming but we routinely do the Toronto Zoo and Science Centre so hopefully that helps.
Thanks again
