Back in 2001 we did an upgrade from a cat 10 to a cat 6 for a 1/3 of the cost. I'm not sure how they calculate the fee, but it was a great savings for us.

Tough choice...there were so many! Best had to be the look on my DH & DS face when they realized that I had upgraded from a cat 10 to a cat 6 without them knowing. (They both really, really wanted a balcony).
