Any 'must dos' that aren't obvious?

Watch the Wishes fireworks from the beach at the Poly when you are at Ohana's....if Christmas decorations are up take a tour of the resorts as they are decorated beautifully...While at Epcot, stroll over to the boardwalk (or take the boat) in the evening and watch the performers...And all these...

Aqua Seas Tour is fun...swim with the fish at EPCOT... we rented the boats at downtown disney, once a pontoon and once the small boats, fun to go explore the "back areas" of Disney... Golf or mini golf... Race track experience (not sure of age requirement)... Just let them go off by...

    Greatest CM moment

Many years ago we had gone over to Tom Sawyer's Island in the middle of the day when Mother Nature let loose with one of those thunderstorms that only central FL can appreciate...obviously they had to shut down the raft that takes you back to the "main land" and many of us were stranded. The...

Our own stroller vs magic strollers vs disney strollers

For an 8-month old...bring your own! We did and it was great for the following reasons...we knew how all the gizmos worked on it (like how to fold the darn thing) :); was priceless to have in the airport instead of carrying around a baby, a purse and a carry-on--they will gate check it and...

    Looking for Aqua Tour Tips

My DH and dad did this a few years ago and loved it! My tip is to bring a video camera and regular camera and be prepared to snap some great pics from outside the tanks. They will tell you where you will be able to see them and they can come right up to the glass for pics (they can see you as...

Homes with pools vs. homes without?

With pool!! My kids (now 12 and 15) have always loved having the pool right there and usually swim for a short while every morning and every night before bed. It is so convenient so it get used....although it is worth it to pay the extra for heating it!!

    Spring Break?...

We went last year March 20-28 and it was predicted to be huge crowds and I was really worried. Turns out, while there were definitely plenty of people there, it wasn't bad at all. Just have to pick and choose how to use your fast passes. We got to do everything on our wish list except TSM...

Finally getting back to the boards with some exciting news!!!!

We once took DD6 months and DS4 to Disney in December and it was fine. (That was 11 years ago of course....). An infant before they are crawling or walking is a piece of cake. Bring your own stroller and one of the front carriers and you are good to go. Once they can move around on their...

AMEN!!!! :worship: I thought maybe it was just me thinking things were getting just a wee bit (sarcastic font) petty on here!! Thanks for the reminder that just the opportunity to be able to travel to WDW is a gift!!

What is WDW like in March??

I think generally the earlier in March the better for crowds, although we went in mid-late March last year and it was not too bad. The weather was perfect!!! 80's and sunny every day when we were there!

Don't do it! I tried that once thinking I was savvy before a trip and all I got was a letter from ebay apologizing for the fraud and I lost $40....:sad2: I learned the hard way if it sounds to good to be true....:rolleyes1

People with 4 kids! How do you afford Disney

Rent a house instead of staying onsite...can have your own room, kitchen, laundry, and pool in the backyard. No waiting in long lines for busses at the end of the night and can eat off property occassionally for less money as well. Just my two cents....:)

Things to do within 2 hours of disney resorts -affordable

There is a state park just north of clearwater beach called Honeymoon Island. It costs like $7 per car load. it is an undeveloped (as in not touristy) park area that is really a huge sandbar created by a hurricane many years ago. there is about 3 miles of pure shell beach on the northern tip...

Great first day Disney plan when flight arrives mid-Afternoon??

My vote is for late dinner at Ohana's and then watching the Wishes fireworks on the beach at the Poly!! That also leaves time to swim and check out the resort before that.
