    Bringing Food In?

Our last visit was last Thursday. I brought in 6 sandwiches, 3 juice boxes, a big bag of Pirate Booty, some fruit, some dried veggies, sliced cheese and a salad. No one blinked an eye. The security person looked in the bag and said, "snacks," then moved to the next person. Not McD's, but...

    Bringing Food In?

Also, no big hard-sided coolers. We go a couple times a month and always bring food in and never have a problem. We bring sandwiches, salads, whole fruit and veggies (baby tomatoes, cucumbers, carrot sticks), popcorn, chips, a sweet of some kind and drinks. Don't worry about it and have fun!

    Pin Book?

I use a regular 3-ring binder. For most pins on backer cards they fit into the trading card pockets. Larger backer cards and loose pins go on the refill pages. I try to keep my sets out of the binders because they get so bulky and use the binder for trading only.

Anyone else get depressed not being at Disney?

I'm in Los Angeles and miss Disney! The day after a trip is really hard on my girls, too. They talk about what the did and didn't get to do and what they want to do next time. Usually when we start walking down Main Street my mind starts planning our next trip. LOL

Quick!~Lot Parking?- Heading to DLR in the morning

Everyone is super nice about the giant triple stroller I take even when we parked at the Toy Story lot. Have fun! I'm heading there with my trio on Thursday.

How do I build courage for going on rides?

Take it in steps and be ready to change plans. Dd3 especially was fearful of many rides including Small World. We gave them all Peltor Jr. earmuffs and she would wear them and sunglasses. Finally we showedher YouTube videos and it helped a lot! The best one was a video from when they redid...

    Multiple autographs from same character?

We used to have the books with no pictures so everyone signed who wanted/was asked to. This year dds all asked for the photo books so I'm careful to do just one each since we're almost full and its only August and we haven't gotten all the autographs they want. The characters all like to...

?? For Parents In Park w/Potty Training LO's

I let my three run the show on potty learning and they chose the week before we had a planned trip to DL with my sister and her family. LOL Amazingly enough we only had one accident there! DD3 was terrified of the large potties, but the small ones helped a lot. I also brought a folding seat...

Should I put ear plugs on my daughter during the shows?

I have the Peltor Jr. earmuffs and love them. I tried the ear plugs but my girls didn't like them. Of course, they were 3.5 when I tried.

So glad Spring Break is finally over at DLR!

We went on Thursday and had a wonderful time. The girls were thrilled because Rapunzel remembered them and we had a great view of the castle during the fireworks (we were leaving but I saw the spot and stepped under the rope). We're stopping by tomorrow morning on our way to San Diego just to...

    Want a Tangled Dress

Whatever you do, don't get the full wig from Target. That thing is horrible, but dd2 had to have it over the braided crown because she (dd2) has brown hair.

DS turning 5 at DL. Take stroller? Yes or No

My girls are 2 weeks shy of 5 and I use the stroller with them. Its hard pushing 3 five year olds when they all want to ride, but so much better than a whiny kind who has to walk. (Tried taking a double a few times because its easier so I know.) As mentioned, there is all the stuff. Just be...

    Want a Tangled Dress

I would call and check. We walked past World of Color and I saw some but I think they were small ones. A good place to check would be by PFF. The stores and BBB are crowded but it isn't as bad back there. Good luck! DD2 has worn hers for our last two trips and the parked is covered with other...

    Alice in Wonderland Question

Thanks. My girls will be 5 in a couple weeks and we can only ride when I can cajole another adult. LOL

    Pin Trading at Disneyland?

What a great story! I can't count the number of times things like that have happened for my girls and I'm determined to pay it forward. The first time, we were at the wishing well in Snow White's Grotto and they had used all of my change for wishes. Shira sighs and says, "I wish I had a...

    Pin Trading at Disneyland?

Magnets are a great idea! I gave my girls the scrappers to put on lanyards for their dolls. Most have been destroyed already. LOL! They've been told straight out that they can not trade the fake pins and the couple that end up on their lanyards have locked backs so that there is no chance of...

Hobby Pin Collectors: What 'themes' of pin do you collect?

The girls and I go to DLR a few times a month for short trips and pick up one pin each each trip. I try to get ones that show rides, shows, characters the first time we go or see them. Other than that, the girls pick out what they like from the rack pins. Our latest favorites have been the...
