We just ate there Sunday. Fish, shrimp, and scallops along with onion rings were still amazing. They also now how a flourless chocolate cake made with almond flour that gluten, milk, and egg free and the only soy is in the oil they use on the pan. Delicious!

    Raglan Road - Gluten Free

My DH who isn't gluten free prefers the GF stuff over the regular. My kids and I who are all GF (among many other things including egg but not corn) will split orders of breaded fried fish, shrimp, and scallops with onion rings. SOOOOOOO good!!!!!! We go to DTD specifically for this and Erin...

My experience & recommendations as a Non wheelchair using physically disabled guest

Everybody here is happy that you've found something that works for you. And, we're also grateful that you've shared your experience. Nobody is diminishing that. What we're trying to do is share other options. The option that you found works is VERY expensive. A lot of people cannot afford a...

My experience & recommendations as a Non wheelchair using physically disabled guest

I think there may be a misunderstanding of what people are trying to say about the impact on family members. My 15yo has pain issues. It's unbelievably hard to watch a loved one in pain. We try to not show how much it upsets us to see them hurting when there's nothing we can do to help but...

    DAS for 2 children

Thank you! I was misunderstanding what everybody was saying. Phew!

    DAS for 2 children

I don't understand why having a person attached to more than one DAS means abuse if each person can only be linked to one return time at any given time regardless of how many DAS links. Here's my situation. I'm not sure what we should do. My 17yo is autistic. We've gotten a DAS for her in the...

Do you think flight costs will go down for February?

There is absolutely no chance of MA school vacation week flights out of anywhere in MA or NH or RI going down. They start climbing within minutes of JB and/or SW opening up their schedules. Nearly all of New England (all but NH) has those same vacation days. You're better off buying now than...

    rheumatoid arthritis

I understand that she doesn't want to use a scooter, but if she's worried about ruining your trip then tell her that'll only happen if she DOESN'T rent on because guaranteed she'll be in a lot of pain fairly early in the trip. The average person walks anywhere from 6-10 miles PER DAY through...

Has Disneyland put MAJOR Restrictions on the DAS Recently?

I can't believe a CM would tell somebody to wait outside a line while the rest of their party goes through the line then meet up with them at the boarding area. That's crazy! It is not logistically possible to do this. If told this is how to accommodate your disability, ask for a supervisor...

2 ECVS or 1 ECV and 1 wheelchair

For our upcoming trip, we'll be getting a scooter for my mom and we were discussing if we wanted to talk to the company who sometimes rents scooters to teens who have experience with them for my teen who needs a mobility device (she uses a scooter at school sometimes). I'm the one who pushes...

Changes To Dining Plans May-June 2015

The most recent discussion of non-Disney owned TS restaurants and the dessert/soup or salad substitution policy was July. Has anybody heard anything more? We've got an ADR at Teppan Edo and I'm pretty sure they don't have any desserts that are safe for my kids with allergies so I was hoping...

food allergies: Popcorn at WDW and Disneyland changing to new brand

Anybody hear anything yet? I'm afraid the tell my 15 year old. Every single park day she has to get a tub. She even got popcorn mouse ears several years ago because she loved the stuff so much.

"Alternate Entrances" - How do we ride?

Is it safe to assume they've worked the kinks out over time? We were there last year at Christmas and it's a good thing my DD can stand and get out of her chair and it's a manual chair that can be folded because when we went there was a door propped open in the middle of the queue and the door...

    February 2016 Discount Code Watch

Saved $620 on 7 nights at ASMu with a family suite plus a preferred room for a total of 5 people. SPD is nowhere near as good as last year. That's only 9% off the total price or as I think I've figured out, 5% off room and 30% off QSDP (I paid the full upgrade price to get to DDP making my...

    Calling to add discount Monday!

I hadn't realized they made a change to be able to make updates online. When did that happen? Clearly I haven't been looking around the boards in a while.

    Calling to add discount Monday!

If you want to do it online then you'll have to book a new reservation then cancel the old one. The only way to modify a reservation is on the phone. Be ready to call at EXACTLY 7am if you want to avoid hours on hold (no exaggeration). This is why I like using a TA. They can deal with the...

Discounts... wahoo. A couple of questions.

How many adults and how many children in your party? Typically the SP&D savings is in the dining plan so the more people, the bigger the discount. My savings on the regular room is small but my savings on the family suite is more substantial since we have 4 Disney adults in the room. Still...

Discounts... wahoo. A couple of questions.

I did the math on my package. I believe I figured out the approximate discount (using excel; such a great software). It works out to within a few cents of my actual package when I take 5% off the room rate and 30% off the QSDP price. This is at ASMu with a family suite and a preferred room...

    Best Deal for Discounted Tickets

You also have to enter date on Orbitz, expedia, cheaptickets, and travelocity. Those ticks are valid. Many on this board have used way.com successfully. So far they're the best I've found that I qualify for so I'll likely buy from them.
