We went to evening EMH in June and rode Everest twice in 30 minutes with no FP, so it wasn't that crowded.

I'd stay at YC. We stayed there a few weeks ago and after seeing the large family crowds at BC I'd always choose YC. My kids are teens. YC seems a little more adultish yet that means it's further from SAB, the marketplace and beaches & cream.

We stayed at YC a few weeks ago, not on CL, and I'd say its a toss up. If you don't have small kids I'd stay at BWI to be closer to Boardwalk. I think its people with small kids who like BC/YC.

Yes, they can generate a "room only" key. We did it a couple weeks ago.

We stayed at YC a couple weeks ago for a week and I was asked to show my room key at the entrance. I don't mind that a bit. The pool is for people who pay to stay at that resort.

Sorry, I didn't find a cool spot anywhere in the pool. There are a lot of people who love that pool however, I suspect most have young kids.

There is also Budget at Hilton Doubletree on Hotel Drive. I rented there last month when there.

No comparison. We were at YC 6/20 - 6/27. There is almost no current in the river pool at SB and at some points along the "river" the depth is 9' so you better be able to swim. I found myself just swimming because the current wasn't strong enough to pull be along. Also, they are not chilling...

As stated in my previous post which was mysteriously pulled off the site, I saved $180 over the week by not buying the plan. We don't eat desert after evry lunch and dinner and my teenage girls were fine snacking for lunch and wanted to eat off the kids menus at more than half the TS...

Jiko, was terrific although not any more expensive than any other restaurant.

I guess you could order two kids meals. My girls were full each time. The kids meals come with desert and sides. The burger is a pretty good size.

I have to respectfully disagree. I just got back and had 2 reservations a couple times for dinner the same night and I did cancel the one I didn't want that day or a day earlier, but it didn't cancel my other.

Arrived at YC around noon, ate, got into HS around 2:30pm. No FP available for Rockin or TM but waits were not bad. Got FP for Tower of Terror, waited for Rockin. Wiat time said 50 minutes but turned out less than 30. Went to Tower on FP. Wait at TM said 80 minutes on board but when we got...

That's ok, I'd just get frustrated waiting for the wife and kids to get packed at the room anyhow. I'd rather take one last bus ride around WDW and then a nice walk to the Doubletree. I'm a runner so the walk will feel good and I saved almost $100 for a four day rental.

Something wrong with a 45 minute wait on the newest ride in the park? Seems pretty reasonable to me. Lucky there's a FP available. At TM in Disneyland here, they don't offer a FP. Everyone waits.
