try to use hotwire. Anywhere in SF is good. Don't go outsite of the city- the airport is in South SF so that is too far without a car. The Discovery Museum is very cool- its a hand-on museum to "discover" things. Golden Gate Bridge- you can walk across and its beautiful. The Wharf for seafood...

The Hollywood sign isn't much to see. Mann theatre (chinese theatre), rodeo drive and the sign are all within 15 mins of each other by car. You can also go to Melrose for shopping or city walk at Universal for some fun (all within the vicinity).

San Diego is about 2 hours from LAX. Can be more depending on traffic. It might be a better idea to fly to LAX, go to Anaheim (45 min drive) stay there then drive to SD. Then back to LAX. That way you limit car time.

Its definitely worth it. City walk is so much fun as is the park. The studio tour is a must!

I'd actually wait. Promos change quite frequently and they have end dates so what is current now may not apply to dates so far away.

Unfortunately there is no pool hopping. Although you could infaltrate your way in by making friends with other guests. I've done that before lol.

Premiere's can be fun. You do not have to devote an entire day to it. Just get there 1 hour early and bring your camera. You will always see someone - it is Hollywood. :)

You can only use them until April. Keep checking the site for July. I'm sure they will have a similar promotion posted after this one.

They are correct- its Blue Bayou. Its very difficult to get a reservation so you either need to do that first thing or call ahead.

Last time I went to WDW we rented a car at the airport and drove to our hotel. I was hugely irritated because the car rental line was absurb and took 1 1/2 hours to get a car. Just to get lost for an hour and end up at a hotel that has a shuttle to the park. Can anyone recommend a better method...
