I am glad you got it to work. I am not sure what is going on with the sound. I have recorded from the vcr to unit with the tv on very low the sound on the dvd was good. Good Luck!!!!

I love the dvd recorder thing. When you are ready to record connect the yellow & white & red cables to the unit from your vcr outgoing plugs. The recorder unit only has a place for audio & video. My vcr uses white and yellow. Then you should see the video playing on the small screen...
