Fun for the Under 1 Crowd

Hi! We took our sons when they were 12 mos and 10 mos. Things that were hits... Safari ride in AK -- animals are always fun :) In the imagination pavilion in Epcot...the part where you can step on the stuff and it makes noise. They crawled and loved it. The little kid playgrounds (by Pooh...

    Annual Pass Renewal Question

That's what I thought...but didn't know if I missed something. Looks like we'll have to buy just regular tickets. However, we have a bunch of one-day passes from free dining and 4-3 specials that we bought...maybe we can put those to use somehow.

    Annual Pass Renewal Question

I checked the sticky, but I've got a question... My annual passes for my fam expire in December. We want to go again in January but that will be the last time we go for over a year (which is sad, but unfortunately work is rough that year!). Anyway, is there any way to get passes extended a...

Epcot Beer Passport (now that it's started!)

Some asked about the Wine Walk. You can buy it in France, Germany, or Italy. It's $20 for 2 samples in each country. If I remember right, France has two heavier reds, Italy has a rose' and something else, and Germany has a really good white and something else. It was fun....and then I wound...

    What's scary about ITTBAB?

I have two sons, ages 4 and 2. When we went with the 4 year old when he was almost three (as in turned 3 the day after we got home...any idea why we scheduled that trip?!?!), he freaking out in there. When we went when he was four, he decided to be "brave" and do it. He was ok. As an...

OK I got 5 days to go.....

This is brilliant!!! My DH is gone for work most of this week and we leave on Saturday. I have two preschoolers and work full time. So I'm actually taking the day off on Friday to pack. And probably finish the kids' costumes because why do that early? I've only known we're going this...

1st Time with Baby, Advice please!

Hi! We've been several times with my little guys (now 4 and 2). Here's my thoughts... Baby care centers -- great if you are nearby. They are quiet and roomy. Otherwise, we just changed in a regular bathroom Sling or something -- we used a mei tai but really, whatever type of carrier you...

    DDP Downgrade ?

We're food snobs too, but the regular dining plan keeps us more than happy. We are big eaters too (for reference, my 2 year old just packed away 3.5 slices of pizza at lunch yesterday and is still nearly underweight!). However, the regular dining plan keeps us full and happy. We get TS enough...

If you are staying at a moderate resort and NOT renting a car...

#1 is our standard...and we stay at mods without cars, have 2 preschoolers (4 and 2) and are food snobs :) Boma is my must do -- AKL is beautiful and the food at Boma is different. The spices aren't the usual spices we tend to eat. The food is aromatic. I don't know another good...

Restaurants crowded during FD -- double booking online ressies causing openings?

I've read about it online and know some people IRL who are holding on to double bookings (I think it's wrong but the world doesn't listen to me!) Anyway, for those of you who have been for free dining, have there been openings at TS places? Hopefully the people holding multiple bookings are...

    Why I like the DDP

I like to not think on my vacation. DDP makes it that way. We can afford to eat all the TS places OOP but I'd be my usual cheap self...and not order dessert. Or not get what I want because this other thing is $2 cheaper. That's not vacation to me, that's regular life. WDW is about a...

    Poly vs Coronado Springs...quick question

We have 2 boys -- 4 and 2. We've done WL, CR, and POFQ with them. The convenience of the monorail is nice, but just not worth it in my opinion. The buses are more than adequate and we rarely find ourselves going back to the room anyway. I think you made a great choice! And about the...

Bugaboo Cameleon vs. Maclaren Volo - strollers in the parks

Can I vote neither? The Bugaboo ... the 2 piece thing will make it a little annoying when you have to bus places (ME is a one time deal...I wouldn't count that as a big problem). However, the slumped over sleeping kid is a problem. If I had to choose, I always go with sleep is more important...

    TTA Refurb

I love TTA! And here I thought I was the only one! Here's why...when my youngest was 10 months old, we went to Disney. He was still nursing, so I'd get on TTA to feed him and my DH and other DS would go on another ride in Tomorrowland. The CM would always let me stay on for round 2 if DS...

How did your toddler do with Nemo & Lion King shows?

My kids LOVE the Lion King show. Nemo show...one fell asleep (2 year old) and the other was ok with it. Sit near an exit for either of them and if your child gets restless or scared, a CM will help you sneak out. But the Lion King show is amazing and they talk about it and play pretend Lion...

Changing Diapers while at the parks

I'm going to be in the minority here. I think it's not really pleasant. If you were in a bind or couldn't find a bathroom, fine. But as a rule, toileting functions are best left to toileting areas. There are family bathrooms that you could push your stroller in to. Also, there are baby care...

Help please, worried about our arrival day!

Spectro is awesome! I have two boys...4 and 2...and they love it! We were there in Feb, it was so cold we had on parkas, mittens, and hats, and there was NO WAY they would let us leave. I second the "seeing it through a kid's eyes". We are trying to go as often as we can do WDW while our...

    What to do????

We were there for PW last year. Barely noticed them. Every now and then you'd see some kids walking around with cheer shirts or football shirts on. There were far more tour groups than PW stuff. On Thursday, they had their championship parade right before the 3pm parade at MK. My...

Staying at Pop in Dec with our 1 and 3 year olds, would you rent a car?

We've taken our kids (now 4 and 2) 5 times since they were born. We've had a car once. It wasn't really less of a hassle. Also, remember, you'll probably need more than a compact to haul your stuff from the airport to the hotel so that increases the cost. My kids LOVE the busses...
