True, but what people may not realize is- there's over a POUND of pasta in ONE meal! I'm very scared for my food budget when he becomes a teenager!
:scared1:
The first time we took the kids (when DS was 5) we got him the adult make your own pasta for dinner one night. He ate ALL of his plus half of his sister's! :faint:
I would love to hear more about your adaptations and see your Powerpoint for Brown Bear! I work in Early Intervention with children from birth to age 3 and also do a lot with assistive technology. Can you PM me?
I just stopped by to see if you had started your TR (I was a frequent reader, seldom contributer on Nebo's TR) and was very happy to see you here with a TR of your own
:dance3: :yay:
Nebo,
I know I didn't post often but your TRs have provided much needed comic relief throughout many stressful times in my life. Thank you!
Oooh, imagine the fun we could have if he started his TR before he left? :rolleyes1
So did you ever get ice for your drinks or did Smidgy give up on you and go get it herself?
We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside (again). November 2nd-7th. Our room was in Alligator Bayou, right near the West bus depot. Down side to that is we were v e r y far away from the lobby and food...
I know alcohol is not included on the dining plan (aside from some of the dinner shows) but it would have been nice to have been offered the choice of the milkshakes. There was a smaller menu card, presumably with milkshakes and drinks on it, on other tables but we were never given it. Too...
Perhaps the milkshakes are still included, I don't know for sure. I thought I remembered our server saying they weren't but I could be wrong. I thought Prime Time was one of the places that did the "adult" milkshakes with alcohol or am I mixing it up with Sci-Fi?
We were there on Saturday (November 5th). Our "cousin" was good but not over the top. DH slid his veggies onto my plate but never got busted for it. We saw other cousins feeding guests their veggies "choo-choo train" style.
The food was ok, nothing special to write home about. We were...
Will the servers give DH a hard time if makes a substitution for the veggies on any given meal? He does *not* like any veggies and will be extremely unhappy if a server picks on him. He's very much a "leave me alone, don't draw attention to me" kind of guy.
What is Chambord? Not familiar with that one. One of the best drinks I've had at Disney was buying one of the margaritas from the stand by Mexico, sipping a bit out of there to make room, then, even though the frozen ice is still over the top, I take a straw and dig out a vertical tunnel...
Happy Birthday Smidgy!
As far as the Pina Colavas go-
When DH and I went to Disney on our honeymoon we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. One of the drinks that we really liked was a Pina Colada with a shot of Chambord on the bottom of the glass. Can't remember what it was called but we...
Aussie-
I think it would be very helpful for other people looking for pictures if you could share yours as I know I can't be the only one trying to make this decision.
Does anyone have more pictures of kids' counter service meals?
Thanks, Shera. The pictures are very helpful!
