    July 17th

I'm wondering the same. We're taking our first trip there for the 60th anniversary. My BIL was born the same day as DisneyLand opened and he wanted to be there for his 60th birthday.

School Attendance Policy Stressing Me Out

The percentage of mandatory attendance is often set by the state and is many times legislated. So, local school districts often do not have a lot of leeway in number of days missed. School administrators' hands might be tied by what the state has mandated by legislators. I know our state has...

I Paid for SW EarlyBird - Now What?

If you change your trip, your EB transfers to your new reservation. I usually do purchase EB since I prefer to sit closer to the front of the plane. From Dallas with an EB, I am usually in the A group with an EB. Slots A1-15 are always for business level people who pay more for their tickets.

My Disney Experience ressies are gone...

I had the same thing happen before a recent trip. My plans would appear, disappear and appear again. Everything worked out. I just made sure I printed them when they reappeared.

    YeHaaa Bob

We try to arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 for his 8:30 show. His 8:30 show ends around 10:00 and he starts again by 10:30. His late show has a few more drinking songs than his earlier show.

    Festival of Fantasy Parade costumes...UGH!

Very edgy costumes. My first thought is that they reminded of costumes we saw at Tokyo Disney 5 years ago. I later heard that the designer had also worked on costumes for that park.

animal kingdom villa Kidani Village Deluxe Studio vs Jambo House Deluxe Studio

I've stayed at both in a DVC savanna view room. The view at Kidani was much better. Downside at this resort is that if you are in a room on the far end, it can take 8 to 10 minutes just to walk to the lobby. At Jambo House, DVC rooms are on the top 2 floors. The trees of the savanna are so...

    TS kids meal for adult

Thanks for the answers. She just eats very plainly, no sauces or any other condiments. We are looking at TS with menus and not buffets. I actually think a buffet would be a better choice for her, but we'll be at menu restaurants instead. She can try to order a kids choice when we are there...

    TS kids meal for adult

Has anyone had any experience with an adult ordering a kids meal(and paying higher price) at a table service restaurant. I've been many times, but have never had this experience. I have an upcoming trip with another adult and when she looked at menus, she only liked the kids choices, even...

    LeFeu's Brew

I bought one to bring the souvenir mug to my grandson. It was much too sweet for me and would not buy one again. I'd rather have a frozen Coke.

    Tips for relaxing @ WDW.

DVC member here, too. Go to Grand Floridian about 4:00 in the afternoon and listen to the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra play music. They take turns every evening with a pianist in the lobby. Afterwards, have a nice meal at the Grand Floridian Cafe.

    OKW or SSR

Pros of Old Key West is that the rooms are larger and you get 2 queen beds instead of a bed and sofa bed. I also feel that the buses are a bit less crowded at this resort. The con is that you are likely going to be in a building without an elevator and might be on an upper floor so you have...

    Was Biergarten always a buffet?

    You know Disney-always changing!

    Columbia House question.

It has been a while, but I don't remember those 3 items in the slaw. I don't like bell peppers, so I think I would remember them if they were in it since I like the slaw.

    Was Biergarten always a buffet?

We went 3 times in the 90's and it was a buffet. The last trip in the 90s was probably '99. They had a wonderful dessert on the menu the Americanized name was Bee Sting Cake.

Choose our last table service dinner

Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe are great choices. I've eaten at both many times and they are always good. You could also take a boat to Fort Wilderness and do their buffet at Trail's End buffet. I've taken family groups there and it is a nice, quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the...

    Be Our Guest

Don't let the line scare you off if it past the bridge entrance to the restaurant. I've eaten there 4 times for lunch and usually get there about 10:30/10:45 to get in line. It does move fast and I've usually been at my table by 11:15. On these days, I eat a light breakfast. I've also heard...

    Tokyo dining

I have not eaten at Tokyo Dining, but agree that a 5 year old would think Teppan Edo would be "neat". They would have a lot to watch with the chef at the table and be occupied for the whole meal.

    Via Napoli or somewhere else?

I've eaten there about 3 times and feel it is just OK. Pizza is OK, nothing special for me. The pasta I bought was way overpriced to me. I paid $25 for a bowl of pasta with some chicken in it and was not impressed. I'd opt for a different restaurant in the park or even go out the back...

Best place in WDW to buy jewellery

If you eat at one of the park counter service restaurants before doing any big shopping, look at the bottom portion of your receipt for a 20% off coupon at some of the stores that carry the expensive jewelry. There is at least 1 store at every park and World of Disney in DTD that honor the...
