With seeing that line at the Grand Floridian I think I would have just made the 15 min walk around the lagoon.

They are available where you rent the boats at Port. Althou it was free we did however have to provide a credit card to get it. While at fort wilderness the lifejackets were just at the lifegaurd towers for day use.

They really are something to see. I myself perfer Christmas. If you go October 30 for 10days you can see them both.

I am glade you made the best of a tough situation. This could have ruined many peoples vacations. It's always better to see the cup as half full than half empty. I'm happy you enjoeyed yourself. Mistakes do happen but Disney is definitly first class

you could always head over to the campgrounds and watch a movie and have a sing along with Chip and Dale

The best place to try is the art store in Downtown Disney. They had alot of that type of stuff your talking about. Just ask a cast member to help you out as they can be printed. They come in plain paper(poster) as well canvas and sizes do vary.

As of last year I know it was at least at POR(riverside) not to sure if its in the FQ section however.

My favorite thing about the fort has got to be late at night sitting on the porch at Crocket's tavern on the rocking chairs with my cup and watching all the tired little soldiers being carried by there parents after a great day at the Magic Kingdom.

I like to listen to music and I like to keep a face cloth and water beside my seat and wipe my face when I am felling a little tired as I usually draw the night assignment.
