Dress Shorts Now Acceptable for Palo Brunch

Those receiving “free” Palo brunch are those loyal platinum or above guests so they’ve definitely paid for it. Let’s face it, cruising has gotten more casual and this platinum cruiser is here for it. I could absolutely care less what anyone else has on, especially while enjoying my “free” meal.

    February Cruising

We’re sailing in two weeks and this will be our 3rd February cruise. It’s usually chilli when we sail away. A light sweater may be needed for nights.

Has anyone dropped off a child alone at the kids club?

My DD (4) is now gold and she loves the kids club. She’s kinda an only child since her siblings are grown and don’t cruise with us anymore. She loves going and doesn’t mind getting dropped off by herself.

My USH day without VIP or Express.

After researching my USH day, I was convinced I needed express pass or the VIP experience to enjoy my day. I was SO wrong. We got there at opening and rode everything we wanted. On most rides, we were in line 5-10 minutes max. Mummy had the longest posted wait time at 40 minutes but we did...

Grand Cayman beach on your own

Thank you. Did you walk to the beach from the tender area or did you take a cab/shuttle?

Decisions, decisions - a DREAM is a WISH your heart makes

We had to make the same decision. It started with Wish and Dream and then also considered the Fantasy. We ultimately decided on the Feb. 4th Dream cruise. Our last two cruises were on the Wish I really wanted something longer. I also like the Dream itinerary better. I’m also looking...

Grand Cayman beach on your own

We haven’t been to Grand Cayman since before COVID. Before, we paid for umbrella’s and chairs at a beach club and did everything on our own. It’s looks likes there aren’t many beach clubs anymore. Any suggestions? Anyone buy a day pass at the Westin?

How to try to change dinning time on the Wish?

We sail on the Wish tomorrow. Yay! This was a last minute booking so I waitlisted early Dinning but no luck. Where on the Wish do I go to try to request it when we board?

    Which cruise would you pick?

We’re also not into characters, princesses or dinner shows and we loved the Wish. Like everyone else, we were scared after reading reviews and was super surprised that we liked it so much. I love all the adult areas and except for the pool area. It wasn’t terrible but I like the Dream/Fantasy...

That cruise is more expensive because it’s over president’s day.

New Disney Ships: News, Rumors, Speculation.....and Names!

We’ve visited Eleuthera and Lighthouse point was a major destination. A lot of people were upset that DCL came in. DCL doesn’t use all of Lighthouse point so they probably named it to represent the part of the area that they are using.

What Treasure cruise are you booking next week?

I’m thinking of booking a cruise the first week in February but a little concerned about the Maiden voyage getting pushed back. Does anyone know if any of the ships were on time with their scheduled Maiden Voyage?

    Please help me decide.

Both cruises depart September 30, so not technically October. I definitely have my eyes on one of those lighthouse point cruises next October!

    Please help me decide.

Yes, flying from Houston. Haha, she’s definitely a veteran, she’s gold already. I’m just being very indecisive. I’m leaning toward the Fantasy but we haven’t been on the Magic in years and we’ve never done MNSSHP.

    Please help me decide.

I’ve been going back and forth but we are booking today. We are cruising early October and I originally wanted to sail out of NYC but logistics aren’t working out. So now I have two choices… 7 night Eastern Fantasy vs. 5 night Magic (w/ 2 days SSR and MNSSHP). My 4 year old loves...
