We were there on Saturday and went to Test Track from RD. It was broken. Came back online about 15 minutes later and rode it once in single rider and then got back inline for single rider...it broke again while we were in line. So we left and did other stuff. We returned to TT at about 1pm...

Sarasota schools go back on the 19th too. Last year we did what you are planning...we went to Disney the day after schools went back. And it was fantastic! It's not just FL schools that go back that early I think...a lot of the schools in the south do.

We were there on Friday and had no issues. Kids rode it 3 times in a row (using single rider) first thing, there was no wait at all. Later we got fastpasses for 2:50 - 3:50 return time and there was only a 7 minute wait at FP. I did see the regular wait was 50 minutes and I wondered who...

Gosh my kids (9 and 7) go on alone all the time. We are always there at RD and use fastpass and single rider so we never bother with rides that have any type of line. But I watch them get in line and then wait by the exit. Somehow they have made it through without being bullied. :rotfl2:

We bought them at MK (just went earlier than normal) because they were $5 more at the hotel and, well, we're cheap. Beware the blackout dates. I would love to go back the first week in April but no go. :(

Even walking down there is a pain. We went at RD to get fastpasses. Going down was OK but trying to get back up the stairs against the giant swarm of people going to ride it was not so much fun. ;)

I was there yesterday and it was pretty humid. I didn't really realize till I got back to the hotel and sure how HUGE my hair was. :rotfl2:

I would go for April - Two of my friends from the NE who always go to Disney over Easter break have had to cancel this year. They lost a lot of their Easter break (only long weekend now) to make up time missed because of hurricane Sandy. They can't be the only ones right! :confused3

I just rode Mission Space Orange for the first time yesterday. Good grief it was awful! If it didn't end when it did I would have puked for sure. I had my eyes closed after the first 10 seconds (even though they say not to) which is the only way I made it through. I could barely walk...

How old are your kids? My kids (9 and 7) love Epcot. I always feel HS is a half day park even though they do enjoy it there...by 2pm we seem done. Epcot you can go 9-9 and not run out of stuff. Actually if it were me I would only go to MK for 1 day and go to BOTH Epcot and HS. :yay:

I've always worn sensible walking shoes and socks before yesterday....yesterday we went to AK and I wore my tried and tested "fit flops" and did great. I think I liked them better than walking shoes...no pain at all and I was able to keep up with no problems. They might be my go to choice of...
