I booked in June last year hoping for free dining to be released for December. I was so scared it wouldn't happen. When it did, I was on the phone first thing in the morning the day it was released to make sure I got it. It saved my family of 5 almost $1600 and we got to eat at a lot of great...

We went last year with free dining from 12/2 to 12/10. The general public offer came out on 8/3/11. Disney later changed the beginning date to 12/4 instead of 12/2, so make sure you book right away when it comes out.

I agree with this. If you want to really enjoy your time at WWOHP and IOA, I wouldn't plan on trying to squeeze in both parks in one day. We spent a whole day at IOA going to WWOHP first thing in the morning until lunch and then again about an hour before the park closed. That worked out...

We stayed at POR the first week in December. My youngest son is 9. He is short for his age, but he had plenty of room on the Murphy bed. I'm sure my 13-year-old daughter would have been fine on it as well, and she is tall for her age. I think you will be fine. Have a great vacation!

My family of 5 liked the regular Butterbeer better. The frozen seemed watered down to us, but it's all good. :thumbsup2

We weren't bothered by the PW crowds at all. We saw some of them at the parks, but they weren't obnoxious or out of line. I think the key to PW is to not stay at the resorts they are staying at if you can avoid it. I think the resorts are where they cause the most problems.
