We did POR for 1 night before our last cruise. Went to DTD... got in the 'Disney Spirit' and loved it!!!!

We used them last April and the experience was great. Picked us up at Port Orleans, loaded the luggage and dropped us at the port. Luggage was taken by Disney crew (except for our carry ons) and we got in line. We just called them when we returned from the cruise and they picked us right...

Yes, get a cabin with a verandah. BUT--- if he wants to smoke on his verandah (which IS allowed) he may just want to peek over to the neighbors to see if they are outside. I smoke. I get a verandah. I always ask my neighbors if they mind. Do I HAVE TO do this? No. It just keeps everyone...

We always pack non-perishable items in a box and FedEx it to the resort! Then you can just buy eggs, etc. at the resort. It does save $!

Check your dates... The College of William & Mary is located in Williamsburg and they have a HOME football game on November 12th. Traffic/population is heavy during games. :)

Just off the 4/14/11 cruise... just wanted to chime in... We found the best times to ride to be: -When you first board -When ride first opens -Early afternoon at Castaway Cay -At 5pm -During Pirate Party -Anytime after 7pm My girls rode tons and loved it!!!

We are staying at POR on Wednesday night. Going on cruise on Thursday. Would like to get transportation to local liquor store for some adult bevvies and drug store for sunscreen. Can we ask concierge(?) for a cab? Anyone ever done this? What is the approximate cost? Thanks!

Another vote here for a Hyatt day room!!! Since you have to be off the boat early then you will most likely arrive at the airport around 9-9:30. That is a long time to wait! The day room is awesome. You can nap, swim, eat, watch tv, take a shower if you need to.... and just relax. Then you...
