I've never been able to get a cheaper hotel room using ap service. Don't like that it doesn't give you free parking at hotel either. Should mention I'm eligible for the Florida rates so your situation may be different.

The phone app has a way of uploading your ap so you don't need card but can use phone at gate. It may be advisable to use this feature just for this reason. I know this won't help in this situation but may prevent this problem for you in future.

We will have to agree to disagree. I just feel if a business wants my business they need to provide parking for me. That is why I try to avoid big cities like the plague. Some how I feel if universal actually owned/managed the hotels parking would not be so much.

$17 is bad enough but mine is 27 for self parking. Crazy, pay hundreds for room and have to pay to park.

If your express pass is your room key does this mean you can't get it till 4pm room check in time? Lets say you get to hotel in morning can you get a card for express pass in morning or do you have to wait for check in?

I see that a fla. Id is required to be shown when you buy/use the annual pass card. Is that requirement waived for youth to young for a driver's license? What is requirement for youth. My kids are 12 and 13 so wont be tethered to me at all times.
