unless things have changed, we were able to park at a Disney resort(poly and gf) when we stayed off property. it was free and we were going there to get food and told the security person that. you cant do this to go to parks, but if you are going eat there, they will let you park.

yep, you can take the monorail to resorts you aren't staying at. you just get on, they don't check anything.
