    How many guides are there?

Thanks! Nope, I don’t have a guide name on mine. My daughter‘s FIL is a guide and I’ll see him in a couple of weeks. I have questions...lots of questions. :D

    How many guides are there?

Johnathon Grier started as a DVC guide in 2008, per Linkedin.

    How many guides are there?

The right hand side of your postcard, right in the middle, doesn’t name a new guide? At the end of the bolded paragraph. That’s what I assumed the name Laurence L. Hannafin was.

    How many guides are there?

Not seeing a whole lot of names or counting of them. We purchased Vero Beach during a Disney trip in December 2000, on a whim and without prior research, and the guide, Hassan Jahanmiry, MISguided us. Said we’d never have a problem booking BWV at 7 months, which is where we wanted to stay...

Hurricane Ian - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

A little disenchanted with DisneyWorld lately, but this is the magic that I love. °o° Thanks for sharing!

    Here, now... with Covid.

Kudos to you for taking responsibility and being so considerate of others, knowing it would affect your trip. I think a lot of people, especially those who think “it’s just a cold”, would keep quiet and do their trip as planned.

Can I say again how much I HATE park reservations!

This is such a depressing thread, because I hate it too. We went to DisneyWorld in ‘97, skipped ‘98, and have gone once or twice a year since. (Purchased BWV in 2001.) We had a NO Disney parks trip planned for March 2020, because I wanted ONE trip that was relaxing and didn’t involve any real...

I love the villa kitchen sponges, where can I buy them?

I wondered that too, reading through the thread. :confused3

    What's your CP ratio?

Oh, interesting about the dirty vs clean. I’m rarely on the DIS these days, and have a lot of learning to do. :scratchin We have 1 contract, BWV, purchased resale in 2001, so we do have all the benefits of direct. (Right?)

The State of Georgia vs Justin Ross Harris

I see the court’s point, watched some legal pundits discussing it, and I agree with the decision. They didn’t overturn the sex crimes convictions. I think I heard those carry sentences of 32 years? And they’ll likely retry him, without all the prejudicial evidence.

What is the funniest gift you have ever received?

Had a boss who gave everyone in the department Christmas money cards with nothing in them. 🤷

What Changes to Parks Do You Wish WDW Hadn't Made?

I miss the Lights of Winter at Epcot. I could watch and listen for hours. Pleasure Island, especially the Comedy Warehouse but also Adventure‘s Club. I miss the old Soarin. I don't like all the current cgi and bent objects if you’re seated on one of the side rows. Our last original Soarin ride...

Pam Hupp, serial killer? UPDATE: Charged with Murder

Pam Hupp FINALLY charged for the murder of Betsy Faria. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1273772 “The court document goes on to outline what Lincoln County Prosecutor Mike Wood describes as a “compelling circumstantial murder case, one that is very difficult to deny.” Yet, the facts of the...

Do you like to do jigsaw puzzles?

I love jigsaw puzzles, but only do ones on my iPad now. Every morning for years I’ve done a daily jigsaw puzzle with my morning coffee…196 pieces, just enough to get my fix but not devote a lot of time to it. It’s just called “Jigsaw Puzzle” in the app store and currently Mickey Mouse is on the...

    Karen Killilea

The original post is from 2003. 😳 Someone on Facebook mentioned the name “Rory” which reminded me of Karen’s brother, so I did a search and saw that Karen passed away in December 2020 at 80. I thought I’d share...
