Honey! We are leaving them at home!

We depend our iPhones as our camera and video camera, I depend on that Lines app quite a bit, and I use mine to keep up with all of our ADRs and just about anything else I need to remember so I don't have to carry a bunch of printed bits of paper along. I will say, though, that DH and I have...

    What to do in evening?

If we need to burn some energy, the most I plan on for the evening of arrival is a walk around the resort, and maybe exploration of the resort gift shop. We almost always end up on flights that get us there late in the day, and though I have tried to make arrival night ADRs in the past, we...

    Onine check in ?'s

It's a huge time saver, and we love online check in. I can't think of any reason at all not to do it. All I have is pros, the biggest is that your folio and everything is all ready for you and you are in and out and on to your room fast as possible. You CAN still ask about your room location...

    Caribbean Beach FAQ part V

The Pack and Play cribs come from Housekeeping, so if you did indeed call only the front desk you may have gotten faster service by calling Housekeeping directly. Though, I am really surprised that someone didn't tell you. It's still not great customer service, and what you had to deal with is...

Anyone else use or have used the CARES harness on the plane?

Thanks for the input y'all! We have flown with DD several times, but it's a new experience every time as she gets older. Thankfully it's easier every time!

Anyone else use or have used the CARES harness on the plane?

Would you still use it with a 5-year old? She is a short 5-year old. About 41-42" tall. Their website does say up to 44 lbs, and she is under that. How do you decide when to stop using it? We brought it along the last time we traveled by plane, in May. I kind of feel like keeping up with it...

Day #3 and we are already exhausted

Ditto all the great advice from PP. Take mid-day breaks, stop and rest in the middle of your vacation. Sit down and just BE there. If you go, go, go the ONLY thing you will be missing is the fun.

garden grill which area has best view

Definitely ask for a booth on the lower level. It's worth waiting for!

At which breakfast buffet do they serve full size Mickey waffles?

Yep. Your best bet is resort counter service, and most of them make them to order! Far superior to any buffet waffle if you ask me.

new blog: Testing the Next Generation in Disney FastPasses

I would LOVE to get this, especially for the MSEP and Wishes. I'm assuming this gets you a reserved viewing area, and there's nothing my DH hates more that having to wait in one place for an hour or more for good viewing. I'd totally be able to use that!

Have to stop at bag check with this Vera Bradley travel belt bag?

I'm weak. I'm trying, though. One day I shall attain the fortitude to Go Bag Free. True, and DH does say I have it down to a science now. I can scan a crown and hustle us over to a good guard with a fast line. I wish Disney would add an "experienced travelers" line or two at the parks, like...

Have to stop at bag check with this Vera Bradley travel belt bag?

Would I need to stop at bag check with this? It's small, and lays flat. It's not as bulky as the average fanny pack, and really only holds tickets, credit card, some cash and my iPhone. Anyone else have this bag style and use it for park touring? Each trip, I challenge myself to take...

    Is MnSshp worth it?

We went with our 4 year old last year, and don't think we will do it again. I'll put it this way: For what it costs, I am glad for the experience once but can't justify making it an annual thing for us. We went to the last party of the year, and would not at all have considered it crowded, so...

walking up for dinner at Chef Mickey's

Well, if it's a slow time, and September usually is, then you might get lucky. We walked up for dinner once in February and only waited about 10 minutes. There were no reservations available when I checked earlier that day. We did go around 5 or 5:30 to beat the dinner rush, and that might have...

    Caribbean Beach FAQ part V

Now that AP rates have been released for October, we've finally booked a resort ... CBR! We are so excited to be headed back to this beautiful resort where we stayed for DD's first trip to WDW. Unfortunately, I spent a LOT of time in our room on that trip, with a high fever and strep throat...
