we stayed at the holiday inn, it wasnt cheap the first two nights that we stayed because there was a shuttle launch, but the last night was 89.00, for a 2 double beds.

we just got back last friday from Double Suites maingate east..its on 192, we got a 2 bedroom/2 bath/2story suite w/full kitchen for 119.00 a night...i did do a review, so if you do a search for double tree, you should find it.

If you havent read my DoubleTree review, you might want to check it out. I loved this hotel, and I only paid 119/per night for a 2 bedroom villa. :p

as for the pools, the kiddie pool was small, i think it was a capacity of 6, and the hot tub was the same. and the main pool was 3ft-6ft, and was a nice size. i do believe the hotel was always full to capacity, and we never had problems with crowding...there was always somebody in the pool...

im not sure if its worth the trip to see it, but i rented my car through alamo, and they have a voucher on the internet site to get two free tickets in to tour the place. its worth 50.00. and we got a good deal on renting a suv for about 450.00 for nine days. (thats including all the taxes)...

im not sure if your interested, but we are renting a car from alamo, and getting 2 adult fares into the kennedy space center..they say its worth 50 bucks...i dont know exactly what it will let you into, but if your renting a car, it might be worth it. :D Julie
