Adding a plan on an already bought vacation package?

Southwest Vacations does offer packages with dining plans, most likely under a different product code than what you have booked now. They do not have the ability to sell ticketless packages if you've already got your tickets from another source. If tickets are part of your package, what you...

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant in Celebration?

Another vote for Columbia. Salad is amazing, paired with wine and a shared dessert was a filling meal. Just something you don't get at other places.

Disney's Visa room rate is cheaper than the rate with my travel agent

Yes, a TA can book a VISA room rate and make a package out of it with tickets and/or dining. Haven't seen as many AP, Visa, etc. deals this year, the resorts qualify but the discounted rooms seem to be fewer than in years past or don't apply to all nights, for example weekends. So Disney gets...

    Moderate Resort + DDP

The DDP credits are all in your "bank" at check in. If you have any credits left they are good until midnight of your check out day, so in your case they are good on the day you check of PO and into the Poly but would expire that night.

Where can I find steamed lobster and/or rack of lamb on the DDP?

The coriander crusted rack of lamb at Spice Road is fabulous! Always done to perfection. Coriander has a slightly citrus-y taste over maybe a cinnamon-y and allspice type of base flavor. It is not at all hot or overly spicy. (Fellow DISers I KNOW I'm not correctly describing this, just trying...

Adding a guest for few nights of trip

You can add him when you check in for your stay just for the nights he will be there. If this brings your room occupancy to more than 2 adults (age 18 and over) you will pay an extra adult nightly fee - approx. $15 to $25 plus tax per night depending on your resort type unless those rates have...

    Two reservations same resort...room question

If the same room category call and have the CM label the last nights as a "continuing reservation" linked to your first one. When you check in for the first reservation they may be able to see if you've been assigned the same room, if not they may ask you to check back in a day or two to verify...

    Delta and Cancellation Fee

If you find that you do have the type of nonrefundable fare that can be changed with a fee and is good for up to one year, PLEASE verify when dates your new travel dates can fall into. Several airlines are very restrictive in that your new dates must have your travel completed within one year...

    Does infant receive mug?

Milk and juice are never in the machines for the refillable mug, so nothing really suitable for an infant.

how does the disney dining plan work

For the All Star Music food court you would use QS credits and for some items Snack credits. Your credits are good at other Disney owned resorts too, so you could eat at TS or QS at those, as well as TS, QS, and Snacks in the parks. Water parks also have a QS location and some items for Snack...

DxDDP: Exactly how do you share?

Isn't Garden Grill in Epcot an AYCE meal served family style? AYCE will charge for each person. Or am I thinking of the wrong place?

Booking extra night's, due to arrival and departure time for flights... any suggestions or insights

For the pre-night stay just have the reservation noted for approx. arrival time, and on line check in would be a good idea too with the time noted. For the last day we have booked an extra night now and then ourselves to be able to enjoy the resort, shower, maybe nap, leave the packing for that...

Can you still inquire about a gift card with deferring housekeeping if you did online check in?

You will get $10 x the # of nights of your stay less one night on a gift card. Room has already been serviced for the first night. We are pretty neat too and often take the gift card, can call for towels, soap, etc. to be sent to the room if needed. When we see housekeeping in the hall we...

    Adding a night

Call Disney reservations and have them link the reservations - they only have to reference them in the notes so should be OK that one res is room only and the other a package. Have them note the package as a "continuing reservation". As long as it's the same room category and the same lead...

    Going in circles at Priceline

Not all third party sites have live inventory listed for all resorts, depends on what access the resort has given them. They will show their contracted rates, but availability updates might only be done overnight for example.

Yes, your TA can book the BB for you as long as he/she does it while you are on site. I've done this several times.

tickets | 14 days from first use?

Only exception is if tickets are purchased as part of an on site package at a Disney hotel. In that case any ticket days are valid for the length of stay. If off site or a room only res at WDW then the tickets carry the new use restrictions. Tickets also have "start date" pricing variations...

what has happened to car rentals?

Waaaay too early to get a reasonable car rental rate. Book car rentals here for clients all the time, starting 2 or 3 months out I recheck rates and rebook as seasonal promotions are out, often at 30 days or less see rates drop considerably unless there is a major event in that area. Rates tend...
