    Alamo charges MCO to Dolphin

There was a time when Alamo treated MCO and the Disney sites as one site, such that if you picked up at MCO and dropped off at the Dolphin you were charged the pick up and return to same site rate. Is that still the case? And if so, what's the code for the Dolphin?

    Stroller rental in parks

We are traveling with friends in June who will need a stroller. The picture of a stroller on https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/stroller-rentals/ is definitely not what I have seen in the parks. Have the parks gotten new strollers?

    Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

DW managed to get a FastPass for June. :yay: If you have a lunch FastPass, how long must you wait after you check-in? Also, what are the advantages of pre-ordering?

    Chicken Parmigiana-Via Napoli

I had the chicken parm last year. It's on par with Mama Melrose and Tony's on a good night. I get better at home, but they aren't serving hundereds of people a day.

    Yak & Yeti or Sanaa?

One of the problems with Y&Y is that it's noisy - all tile and stone with no soft surfaces to absorb sound. We were there in November and it will be a while before we go back. Sanaa on the other hand is a great place. It's more exclusive, so it's quiet. The food is better, and watching the...

    Fantasmic on May 23?

May 23rd is DW's and my planned day at Hollywood Studios. We never thought it was a Fantasmic day. Also, we just received an e-mail indicating that we needed to change our 5:30 dinner reservation in the park since park hours had changed. Based on this, I believe that the 6:00 closure is correct...

    Boma or Sanaa

There is limited light on the Kidani savannah (Jambo tends to be a little brighter, esp. by the lodge entrance), so from inside Sanaa it's pretty dark looking out. The food at Sanaa is excellent, and while full of spices, it's not "spicy" in the traditional sense of the word (not hot.) Just...

Bakery News: France Bakery opens at 9am, Tomorrowland Terrace open for Breakfast

Actually, the blockade is at the England side of the bridge, so guests coming through the gateway can go through England and Canada to get to Future World. To open France, all they have to do is move the blockade to the other side of the bridge.

    Yak & Yeti - Thoughts?

DW and I ate there last spring and enjoyed it, so we booked again; however, this time, we were both disappointed. The food was just okay and not overly hot. The atmosphere was also uninviting. We are not planning on going back soon.:sad1:

    Thanksgiving dinner reservation

We ate last Thanksgiving at Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We don't like buffets, so I was looking for a restaurant that had turkey but was not a buffet. The turkey dinner was excellent!

    orlando sanford shuttle???

If you rent a car at Sanford and drive to a Disney resort but don't want to keep the car for the week, where do you return the car? Also, where do you rent the car for the return trip to Sanford that can then be returned at Sanford airport? Thanks :)

Christmas at Disney ~ will we find that magical Christmas feeling?

We visit every year at either Thanksgiving or Christmas. There is definitely something special about Christmas time. At Epcot, make sure to see the Processional to get in the proper spirit, also listen to the carolers in the USA building. One warning. Christmas is the busiest time of...

Where is the Illuminations viewing area for ppl who have booked a Candlelight package

This is our traditional viewing spot, no matter what time of the year. It's one of the best spots to view Illuminations. You have an unobstructed view of the lagoon, with the globe front and center. Also, since you are north, facing south, you typically avoid the smoke and debris. As an...

Scotland Meets Thread (formerly Scotland: A Brave Adventure)

Yes, ABD is more expensive than most of the other tour companies. I've done a number of Globus and Tauk tours, and as far as I'm concerned, you get what you pay for. The ABD experience is superior to anything I've done before. In every case, and this can be critical for international trips...

    First time golfing @ WDW - info/tips?

You don't really need to set up transportation ahead of time. Just walk up to the luggage desk (outside) and ask for a taxi to whatever course is being played. It's free, you don't even have to tip the driver, although I typically do. As far as travelling with clubs, ME and the bell staff...

Informal poll ... Favorite candlelight processional narrator?

I've seen so many narrators that I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite. On the other hand, I will say that Mira Sorvino was the worst I've ever seen. Too mousy of a voice to pull off the grandeur, and she kept playing with her hair. If I had to pick, I'd go with Olmos, followed by Chita...

    Les Chefs or Biergarten?

The only kid attraction at Chefs is the waiter bringing Remy to every table. That's kinda fun. I haven't been into the Biergarten since they went buffet, but if you like oompahs and polkas, then that's your best bet. Food wise, the only buffet I'll accept is Boma; Biergarten's pseudo German...

    Captain's Grille

The Captain's Grille is on our normal rotation, so I eat there at least once a year. We've never had bad food or bad service, for that matter. The place is fairly quiet and rarely gets crowded, so you don't have to rush your meal.

    What happened to Soarin?

I have a hard time believing that the attraction is actually using film. In the 21st century this should be on disk. So taking the master and dumping a duplicate takes minutes, and quite honestly, cents. I'd accept dust in the guns, but even that "should" be simple to resolve. If I'm...

Will Star Tours make me sick?

The only time I ever got "green" on Star Tours was when I did it immediately after TOT and R&R, non stop, single rider lines for R&R and TOT. AS long as I have a break between, I'm good. One way to make it gentler is to sit in the middle. The back is the roughest location for motion and the...
