How responsive has member services been?

I sent an email on April 8 requesting my borrowed points from a cancelled reservation be put back in my 2021 use year, received a response on April 9 that they would move my points in 7-10 days. I actually waited 19 days to call after points had not been moved. It only took 5-10 min for my phone...

If you have the chance to stay at Bungalows.. will you?

I love the view from the Poly Bungalows and enjoyed a 2 night stay there a few years ago. I would stay again, but again limit the number of nights due to the extremely high number of points required.

    Wind & Waves

I'm sorry the restaurant did not handle your questions/complaints well. I've always had great experiences there while visiting VB. I think it's a toss up of how restaurants list sauces on pizza, especially when they are specialty type pizzas. Hopefully, you will return to Wind & Waves and have...

Make sure you use the credit to purchase another flight within the time limit (usually 365 days).

    DVC/AP fastpass issue

Make sure your reservation is showing up in MDE as well as your voucher AP numbers prior to 60 days of your trip. Additionally, all names on reservations and vouchers should match exactly.

    2019 points...WWYD?

I would stay in a 1 br instead of a studio (love the King bed and extra space) or bank the points. I must admit that we always find ways to use our extra points with larger rooms, inviting others to join us etc.

Use year question: what if my new use year starts in the middle of my travel dates?

I agree that August, February and March would work for your potential plans. Avoid April use year if you may travel in March since you will have no wiggle room if a trip needs to be cancelled at the last minute.

What do you like about the Grand Floridian?

The DVC building check in area is very calm and inviting, and the staff is very welcoming. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable and well-appointed. There are great on-site restaurant choices to suit a variety of needs from quick service, character meals, cafe, and signature table service. I love...

Grand Floridian Villas One Bedroom -- without connected studio?

We have stayed at VGF in 1 br several times and have never had any noise issues.

    Beach Club room preferences?

You could ask for a view of the quiet pool if you do not want to be seeing only trees/ bushes which are views from some of the rooms, especially if you are on a lower level. I agree that a higher floor with a larger balcony is more ideal.

The worst feeling of all in Disney

Well put! That's exactly how I felt a few weeks ago when on our last day at Grand Floridian!

Agree with above post. Make sure you click on each year individually to see points for that use year. You are not seeing points for 2019 unless you click on it.

    Poly Bungalows?

The views are wonderful from the Bungalows, and we were more impressed with them than we thought we would be. We would consider staying in them again with our family. It was nice to watch the fireworks from the small deck or in the small splash pool. There were only two of us for 3 days so space...

Just booked our first stay at BLT...what should we be most excited about?

As others have said, the location is wonderful! We love the short walk to MK (especially at park closing), the monorail to Epcot, the monorail to the Poly and VGF to enjoy the restaurants etc. Extra bathrooms are a plus. Three bathrooms in the 2 bedroom villas really helps when you have a large...

    BLT or VGF

I love both resorts. I like the walk to MK and the extra bathroom at BLT, but I prefer the decor and resort feel of VGF. Both have great access to wonderful restaurants on property and via the monorail. You will enjoy your trip at either resort!

    Polynesian Bungalow Room Review

Thank you for posting such a detailed review. I wasn't sure if I'd splurge to stay in the Bungalows, but after reading your review, I think we will definitely try it for at least a few nights on one of our upcoming trips. We always loved staying at the Poly before we became DVC members so this...

VGF may be sold out for some UYs

Yes. I spoke to my guide today, and he said that April and one or two other use years were sold out. There were still a limited amount of points left for February.

    VGF Sales?

Although we love both resorts for different reasons, we now prefer VGF. We had a magical stay in a 3 BR villa with a lake view on the 6th floor. The room was spectacular! If you ever have a chance to book it for a large group or just for a special stay, I highly recommend it. A few of us also...
