We had some real issues with bus transportation (long waits, overcrowding) last year, but have never had any problems with the boat. Plus, there is something about a boat that is just more fun than a bus, don't you think? lol

I think it depends on where you are in AB -- we were there last year and it was a very short walk to the food and shopping areas. Plus we were close to the pool and fishing hole. We loved it!

Wow! We had exactly the opposite experience. CR's food was mediocre at best, including the steak (there were 4 of us, and we all ordered something different). The steak was NOT cooked as ordered and was bland. The fish were neat for awhile, but we were in the banquettes at the back, where...

Not only are some of the foods very spicy, others are just ordinary cafeteria-type fare. We thought the atmosphere was terrific, but weren't impressed by the food.

Could the 12-year-old sleep in the trundle? We stayed at POR last year, and my 6-year-old granddaughter refused to sleep in the trundle (she was afraid of low-lying monsters), so her 30-something, 5'6" mother ended up there....she said it was just fine.
