Hi! When I went on my first trip to the world, I took my ghd's and they didnt work.....I was not happy! We did go to wallmart and bought some cheapie ones there, but they were useless on my thick hair. My hair is awful and without straightners in that heat I had to permenantly hide under a hat...
We requested congress park at SSR last year recommended by a friend and I am so glad we did! We have a room overlooking the lake to DTD and it was only a 10min walk there (we went nearly every eve - its one of our fave places:goodvibes). Also we were right near one of the quieter pools and...
We stayed at SSR last year (and will be next year, Congress Park) and had a fantastic balcony overlooking the lake and DTD - we didnt use it loads, but it was lovely to have it to sit out on at the end of the day.:goodvibes

We always book a res at The Rose and Crown - each trip we have enjoyed the food there and if you want some british food while you are away its a great place to go! I would also recommend Raglan Road:thumbsup2
