LOL!! I could have written this myself!

    Animal Kingdom

I agree with JSCHARF. If you have young kids, and have no trouble walking, spend the day. But with older kids, or just adults, we get there around 9-9:30 and including lunch, are out by 2-ish. However, if you want to stay to see the parade, its late in the afternoon i think, about 4:30 i...

    Super Soap Weekend

My daughter wants me to take her, and a girlfriend, to WDW for super soap weekend, the second weekend in Nov. Has anyone been there before who can tell me exactly what goes on during this weekend? I don't fancy standing in lines for hours waiting for autographs. Is it really worth the...

    DL Indy Ride to MGM?

There doesn't seem to be enough room where the indy stunt show is now for the indy ride to fit. So that rumor i don't believe. However, I've heard the SOARING OVER CALIF. rumor a number of times, in several places. The first time I heard it was in Cal. Adv. when I was waiting in line for...

Which Park To Do On Sat, When Planning Mk Fireworks For Pm

If you get to AK as soon as it opens in the A.M. you can easily see the park (but not the parade) and have lunch and still be out by 2:30-3:00 at the latest. That gives you plenty of time to either go back to your hotel (if you are staying on disney property) for a nap or a swim, and still get...

How crowded is President's Day Weekend and Week

I've only been there once during pres. weekend, a number of years ago, and it was the most crowded i have ever experienced it. Hardly got onto anything. Glad its lightened up since then. Have a great time. :-)

    We're on our way!

You are probably gone by now, and I hope you have a great time! Drink plenty of water for the heat. If you get a chance when you get back, send me an email. I grew up in Edison - went to Woodbridge High School and then J.F. Kennedy H.S. when it opened. You are probably MUCH younger than me...

What is the easiest question that you've seen someone miss at the Millionaire Game?

I've never been lucky enough to make it to the hot seat but my daughter-in-law has and she says that even the simplest question becomes foreign to you once are up there under the lights, with all the large TV screens showing your face. She missed a very easy question, #4, that had to do with...

    Mission Space Reviews

Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to write your very extensive review of the new Mission Space ride. It will be very helpful in my deciding whether or not I will attempt to ride it when I am in WDW in December. Thanks again!

    Theme Parks..do you skip any?

We have never been to the water parks, but generally hit all 4 parks on each visit (2 days each at MK, EPCOT and MGM, but 1/2 day at AK, and 1 day at Univ. and 1 day a IofA). If its a quick 4- 5 day visit, we skip AK altogether. This schedule works out great for us. :-)

A WDW fanatic finally heading to DL/DCA - any tips?

Another price increase: just got back last night from our wonderful California vacation and we stayed at the Grand Californian, and the buffet breakfast at Storytellers (with chip and dale and pluto) was $18.95 for adults (had no kids with us so I didn't notice the kids prices, sorry).

    DL Fantasmic vs. WDW Fantasmic

I LOVE BOTH FANTASMICS equally, both for their differences and similarities, but the seating at WDW is a definite plus to me.

    Just returned

Just wanted to mention that my daughter told me that the restaurant mentioned above, called the DIVE, is closed and no longer in business. (It sounded great so I asked her about it which is how I found out.) It used to be in the Fashion Show mall next to Treasure Island.

    Space mountain question

Does anyone know if the space mountain ride in DL is different from the ride in MK? I don't mean scenery wise - I mean is it faster, slower, have dips, etc.? Anything that might make a scaredy cat like me not want to go on? Thanks.

What hotels are closest to the entrance?

Personally, I found the Desert Inn to be a little dumpy, and the people at the front desk not particularly nice. Now this was a few years ago, and things and people change, so this is just my opinion. Go for the candy cane like others suggest.

    Just returned

To Planogirl: I hope I understood your question correctly. I am not sure how much the Siegfied and Roy show costs, since they were on vacation while I was there, but I believe they are at least $70. (I could be totally off on this). The Rita Rudner show cost about $40 a ticket, and they...

    Just returned

To Bekkiz-- tell me about the blue man show. My sister and I were thinking of seeing it, but the person selling the tickets at the hotel we were staying at couldn't really tell us what EXACTLY it was and so we ended up getting tickets to see Rita Rudner at NY NY instead. (She was really funny...

    Just returned

To DW MOUSER: We just came back from Las Vegas in May and had an incredible time! Never realized how much there was to do there besides gambling. We were given a great "TO DO" list from my daughter, whose in-laws live in Las Vegas, so she has gone there often. Here is the list we had...

Interesting benefit of a blackout pass

Rita--as far as my 2 cents goes--i think you had every right to both those FP's! And I hope you had a great time! :-)
