I'm not sure about the drinks specific to AKL, but we have metal straws that we use daily. I recommend them! They're great.

Jambo! The newest AKL Information thread

That's amazing. Thanks for those pictures!!! Club level sounds amazing! We are renting DVC points so we are going to be on the 5th floor. It makes me wonder if we should try to switch to Kidani to try to get a lower floor closer to the animals! Decisions, decisions.

Jambo! The newest AKL Information thread

Wow. Thanks for sharing this! We booked a savanna room and I keep doubting the expense. We will be surprising our two animal obsessed children with the trip at Christmas and I just can't help but to think it will be so worth it. You put my mind at ease. Are you happy with your room or is there...

    Weekly/monthly grocery budget?

It's getting increasingly more difficult, but we make it on a food budget of $300 a month. We're a family of four: husband, wife and two elementary aged kids in Texas. We're predominantly vegan (though we will eat vegetarian at restaurants) and I'm gluten free. I do a lot of shopping at Aldi...

    Trader Sams and Abracadabra bars?

I think most of them at Trader Sam's come with the souvenir glass at that price, but you can also get it for a less than that without the glass. I've seen pictures of the menus, but didn't notice prices listed. We're hoping to make it there when we go too!!

My family is vegetarian. I try to be vegan, but am usually vegetarian too. haha :P I copy/pasted some QS info from our dining plans. We are mostly doing TS at DHS so I don't really have much CS ideas there. Magic Kingdom Starbucks Columbia Harbor House (one of our favs) - chili, fries...

    Carnival Cruise line (Triumph )

I did that exact same cruise. Triumph for 4 days with Cozumel being our port. Honestly, it wasn't the best cruise. I did feel like it was a party atmosphere and I think I just prefer a larger ship. Now, that didn't keep me from cruising again and I'd cruise on her again if the price were right...

    Eat at Home 3!

Pizza might be perfect, actually! I have a roasted garlic coconut milk w/ sun-dried tomatoes recipe that we like a lot. It's creamy kind of like an alfredo pizza. I'll have to see if we have any sun-dried tomatoes on hand. I like to top it w/ pine nuts, but that is not in the budget right now so...

    Eat at Home 3!
