I'm in Virginia beach and it takes me 12 hours... I have to drive 2 hours west to get to 95 to go south and from there is literally road, trees and billboards. It's not a very scenic drive :( I always drive straight through and overnight. We're leaving around 2 or 3am so we should get there...

They key is to pat it down dry as much as you possibly can and lower it in to the oil SLOWLY. We did ours last year for the first time and Kevin literally took a good 5 minutes lowering it down. Like a millimeter at a time. But, man o man, when that sucker was done and ready to be eaten...
